gift cards, one for $1000 (shopping spree!) and $300(gas or something else) Had to pay for $7.90 to have it shipped. And after I give (and only after) the women (who speaks such broken english and has a name like christine jones-lmfao) my payment info that she will transfer me to another person for a confirmantion code for me to give to the UPS man  when he delivers my package. Guess UPS does not deliver without a top secret code, just in case you are not who you say you are. Oh and another thing...when I asked for a phone number to reach her company just in case there was a problem in delivery she hesitated but finally gave in and gave me 2 number and her name. She spelled out her name and also tried to use the greek alphabet while spelling her first name, I guess to prove that its acutally christine jones calling. (c charle h hat r rain s shoe...what a joke) All of these people that pull this crap should be deported and/or put in jail. god forbid if I ever find out who they are. I have a lot of time on my hands...I could take a trip to clear water.

I just got a call from these people, this is the second time they have called. The lady refused to give me number to call them back at or a physical address of the business for me to verify. When I asked for an address to mail the payment to I was told they do not accept anything other than plastic. I did not get the woman's name, her accent was very thick, however I asked to speak with her supervisor and she became irate, and i said that I wanted to verify thatn this is not a scam, she started yelling things like "do you think I'm scared of you?" and "do you hear fear in my voice?" i hung on and kept saying i wanted to speak to a supervisor, and eventually I was passed off to a man calling himself "nick denton" and long story short, he tells me that they are located in clearwater florida, the name of the business is Direct Business Assosciates, that he cannot give me a call back number or a physical address because there is no inbound calls to the call center and it is against company policy to reveal their location.  I said that I would call their customer service line (the 800 303 2359) and that he may call me back in one hour once i've verified legitimacy.

have contacted the authorities, and they told me that there is nothing they can do until they have stolen from me, and even then as the scam is based in a foreign county there is very little that can be done.... the cops have no authority there.

caller stated she was with Unlimited Consumer Benefits out of clear water, fl.  Wanted to give me a $500 shopping spree and a trip to some exotic island but needed my credit card number for "postage and handling".  Cost would be only $5.00. I put her on hold and looked for business in clear water, fl. by that name, couldn't find it, typed in # on internet and came up with this site.  Glad I did.  Please, someone has to put a stop to this kind of activity.

i just got off the phone with these people. i was on there for 2 hours talking to "tony gonzales", his brother "johnny", "bobby something-or-other", and their supervisor who was some woman i made cry after i told her she was crazy. at first they were from Phoenix, AZ, then they were from Maitland, FL. the company was "unlimited consumer benefits" then it changed to "supersavingstoday.com". it was for a $500 shopping spree and a 70% discount card. $5.90 shipping charge. they told me they'd give me a number to verify that they were a legit company AFTER i gave them my debit card #. the caller ID came up as "unknown caller".

They called here several times for my mother, even after she had already spoken with them, and were obviously from India and were not extensively trained in English or customer relations. I started answering the phone so that she wouldn't waste her time and they eventually tried to put this free "gift" in my name instead of hers. This of course led to a pitch about a free vacation, $500 shopping spree all paid for by the company Unlimited Consumer Benefits. All I had to do was send them $5.90 for shipping and handling to hire the UPS man to deliver my package with my shopping spree coupon and authorization code for my vacation. I told him that if they really wanted to send me a free gift it would in fact be free, and that I wasn't mailing them any money because it was obviously a scam. He then proceeded to tell me that I couldn't mail it anyways because they only accept credit cards, but that I was being foolish (by now he was quite angry with me) for not being willing to pay $5.90 for a $500 gift card and all-expenses-paid vacation. At this point I spoke with his supervisor because he was getting quite upset, and this "supervisor" was not only WORSE than the first guy, but actually proceeded to insult me!

I asked for the business name, website, and phone number; the business and phone number led me here and the website (worldbestbenefits.com) did not exist. When I explained to him that his company did not exist except on forums regarding scams he proceeded to argue with me about how it couldn't possibly be a scam when he wasn't asking for the PIN number for my credit card (yeah right!). As a web developer and a computer engineer I was comfortable telling him he was full of crap, so he said "If you're so smart then I will give you my credit card number and expiration date and we'll see if you can abuse my card." I agreed and asked for his real name, at which point he began with his $5.90 pitch again because apparently he was beginning to take me seriously. He also redirected me to a website which did exist (journeypass.com) representing a vacation company in the UK to prove that his company - supposedly based in Clearwater, FL - actually exists. I still don't understand what he was getting at with that one.

When I demanded he remove my mother from his horrid list and never call here again he argued with me for several minutes about how I didn't understand what he was asking for and how all he wanted was shipping and handling and kept asking for my card number. I eventually just hung up on him and he not only called back - he continued calling over EIGHT MORE TIMES after I stopped speaking to him! When he finally stopped redialing I called my phone company to have them trace the numbers and deny them through my phone line, but they said they don't have a way of blocking them if they are Unknown. However in my area (and probably others), there is a command *57 which you can dial after you've hung up from a threatening incoming call which notifies your police that you've been the victim of telephone harassment of some kind and traces the number whether it is undisclosed or not.

Note to people getting calls from these numbers:
Answer the phone, entertain them for a minute or so, then hang up. Once you've hung up, dial *57 and hit call (or whatever code there is in your area to alert the police of threatening phone calls). This will trace the number of your previous incoming call at your local police station.

I just had a call announcing me as a prize winner, too. Had a lovely chat with an Indian fellow and his supervisor that led to a request about my credit card details. At that point I declined. Curious to know if anyone has received their free gifts. I am marginally concerned. I think it is telemarketing to get you to sign up for their www.journeypass.com savings club.

I just had a call announcing me as a prize winner, Indian fellow very polite, a free trip for three nights at a Ramada Hotel anywhere in the country. He then wanted me to give him my credit card number to pay for the shipping cost $6.95, what kind of idiot would gve a complete stranger on the phone their credit card number. I then asked for his number to call him back, after some choice words he gave me the number above 1-800-303-2359. the company was called Unlimited Consumer Benefits, ClearWater, Florida. I spoke with two indian guys Mark Williams and Richard Watson, really nice english names for these guys. When they called back I asked about the scam and why they were trying to take money from hard working people. He denied everything and said it was a true business and that I was a liar. Please don't give these bottom feeders your credit card number.

well i received a call a week ago from a guy with some american name however i know it was not his original name coz he had a south asian accent. he said to me that he is calling from the same company mentioned above but he added that they are the marketting partners of all the leading shopping malls like walmart, kmart and etc. when is asked him that what i need to pay he said that i just need to pay the shipping and handling charge through a valid plastic. when i asked him that i will pay that money in cash he refused and still wanted to take down my details. But i didn't provided him the details and tried to test him by cursing him down over the phone. U will not beleive he started using profanity in the same call. i was totally confirmed that it was a scam call and i was luckily saved by being scam. so i would request all of u not to provide any details to any one of these guys and plz somebody stop this..
