This is scam, Please be aware

I called this number after getting it on a screen on my I-pad.  The woman told me she was from Apple, and she could clear my screen for $29.  It is a scam.

I got a call from them and they said i need to tell them about my card number what should i do?

Yeah, I read the word, so I was surprised. Tomorrow, they will call me again to ask my card number. and if I do not take it, they will request me the more money. I called them about your company is scam, so I will not pay, but they did not understand what I wanted to say....
I'm really confusing now....what should I do?

A friend of mine is a new iPhone user and he just got a pop up on his phone while using the Google browser to call this number to get rid of the pop ups and that they are Apple.  He actually called the number and said some guy with an Indian accent answered asking him for his password telling him that he's from Apple.  He hung up and just told me about it.  I deleted his Google web browser app and told him to use Safari.  I noticed that it is much easier for these scam artists to hack through and do these crazy things when you install and use a web browser other than Safari.  Beware!  They are SCAMMERS!  They should be reported immediately.  I am going to report them now.

Do not pay them period, nor talk to them any more.
