I got a solicitor call from a rental ad agency. I thought they were not allowed to call cell phones.

they are an rental placement agency (so they said) they were calling regarding an ad I ran in a local paper, (house for lease). they are trying to sell you some sort of advertising. I had some time on my hands so when they called me I keep them on the phone asking some really, really stupid questions and making some brutal small talk for a total of 28 minutes before the call ended I told her I didn't have a credit card, she asked if I could borrow someones and pay them back, to witch I replied: Do you have one?

its acerenting.com....they have a thing you can request to be removed, but so far they have not removed my number. i've had 3 same messages from them on my voice mail in less than 2 weeks.

Called 11/11/2008 & 11/13/2008 between 6 & 7 p.m.

Watch out for this company they call them selves acewebads.com, acre renting.com, they use a preautomated dialer program to call you on your number over and over and they won't stop, 1800-303-9579. The person on the recording identifies themselves as a Mike Phelps, the web address domain comes back to a Richard Stevenson in Toronoto, Ontario. Watch out for this scam, they think by bothering you over and over again that you will go onto their classified site and place ads. The calls to my phone over and over again is a ripoff of my time, freedom and privacy, I did not ask them to call me. If I want to place a classified ad on the internet I can do it on my own.

Richard Stevenson you are a piece of horse dung for having your computer phone me over and over again. I hope the authorities bust you for telemarketing and internet fraud.

They called me about a guitar I placed in the local paper and told me about their website were I could place a rental proberty ad....they need to stop calling!

Something screwy is going on with this number.

I got two calls with two different caller id's from this number in 10 minutes.

I tried to block the caller with *60 and the 'add last caller' command. The service said 'number not available'. I then manually entered the number and I got a call 10 minutes later from the same number. I tried to block the number again and the service said that the number is already blocked

Calls from 1-800-303-9579 three times in a row! Very annoying: No messages.

Got a call on a SUNDAY eve at 5:24!!!  DINNERTIME SUNDAY!!!  Is NOTHING Sacred anymore???  I run a business out of my home and repeatedly get calls from "ACE RENTALS".  We checked them out on the web and their claims of being a "premier source of rental ads" is BOGUS at best.  They come up on the DISTANT links on Google when searching "rental ads".  Its always a recording and does not give any option on how to STOP these calls.  Since I advertise to obtain CUSTOMERS, not for businesses that want to make money OFF me, this is a clear violation of the Do Not Call list, and I'm going lodge a formal complaint at www.donotcall.gov.  I encourage ALL others to do the same.

After receiving a call at 10:59AM 6/5/09, I called them back at 11:30AM and was told "you removed yourself from the Do Not Call list". I told her "I did not". I was then told "You removed yourself from the Do Not Call list by placing that ad" that I had placed in the local newspaper for an apartment I have for rent. The call went downhill, in a hurry, after that comment.

Called and left 3 minute message soliciting internet ads.

they are just another scammer called ace advertizing where they rip you off buy selling somthing they don't even have!! just call them back while the message is playing press 789 it lets you into there system threw a back door....2 can play this game!!!stop the robo call or else

DO NOT entertain diong business with these creaps! They will hang up on you and treat you like nothing important! This Company says that they are one thing, but then will change name before you call back, VERY shady! indian woman that answers phone is VERY rude! Report EVERY ettempt that they make to call you to Consumer affairs division!

I took your advice and filed all the phone calls with the donotcall.gov but what I don't understand is how do these guys make money? If all they're doing is annoying people - who pays them? Does anyone have an address for them? Maybe a personal visit from the authorities will stop them.
