- AngelaThese asshats have been calling me 3-4 times a day for the last 2 months. It's ridiculous. I put my number on the Do Not Call list. I work nights and these idiots start calling at 7 in the morning. There's no way to get them to stop. You tell them you're not interested and they hang up. You call them back and you get an automated message with no options to opt out of future calls. Ugh!!!
- JoanIt is a scam they take all your info then they will tell you how much they will save you after you pay them the 500 dollar fee to join they won't tell you anything. So I asked them well what happens if I pay this money and you only save me 10 dollars. I was told even if we only save you a penny it's still a savings and there for we have kept our end of the agreement I just laughed and told him to shove it up his ass. And they still call me all the time

- HaroldI have received multiple phone calls as well. This has to be illegal.
- Really AnnoyedThe best thing to do is fill out a complaint form with either or both the Federal Do Not Call List (info on their site) and your state's Atty General (DNC complaints). Our state has an agressive AG, and these telemarketing calls are stopping .
Starting on 11 March, I've been getting at least 2 calls EVERY day from these idiots, sometimes 3 or 4. I have no student loans. These callers are NOT legit. This is the message I usually get,
"Hello this is Daniel. Sorry I missed you, I'm at 800-311-5648. My job is to inform you that you qualify for a federally funded forgiveness program on your student loans. Bottom line to you is lower monthly payments or a loan forgiveness program. Call me back before you throw away another payment. Call our department back at 800-311-5648."- Caller: doesn't say

- severalcallsget over ten calls a day with a chirpy message to cut down my student loans but when I call to tell them to quit calling me they are very rude. Of course I am angry with the incessant calling, you don't calm people down by being rude to people you want as customers nor do you keep calling every hour.
- Mackenzie| 9 repliesI called the number back and they are a legit student loan forgiveness company. The lady who answered the phone was nice. She explained to me how the program worked and that I could only end up paying $51.00 a month in student loans since I'm unemployed. When I told the lady on the on the other line, that I wanted to be taken off the list, she told me she would do it and then she hung up on me, so I can only hope that I don't receive anymore calls like this.

Caller: Student Loan Forgiveness Progam
Do you really want us to believe the name of the company is "Student Loan Forgiveness Progam"?
Hmmmm?
How about telling us the legal name, physical address, and website of that supposedly legit company?
Oh ... you forgot to get that information?
How then, can you claim they are legitimate company? - GateKeeper replies to Mackenzie| 6 replies"... they are a legit student loan forgiveness company."
Pumpkin, as much as we would all love it, no such company exists.
Your student loans cannot be forgiven anymore than a home, personal, or business loan can. The money was loaned to you, it was spent on your schooling, and it has to be paid back. Anyone who tried to tell you "for a low, low rate of blah blah blah a month..." is lying to your ear.
Loans can be deferred of placed in forbearance under certain circumstances, but you have to call them. They won't call you. - Mackenzie replies to Slimi wasn't trying to get you to believe me. You don't have to [***] about it to me either. Unfortunately, they are still calling me.
- Makenzie replies to GateKeeper| 5 repliesPlease do not call me names like pumpkin. I hate those names. I was just passing along the information I received while i spoke to the associate and unfortunately, they still keep calling back even though I told her to remove me from the list.
- MackenzieNow the number is no longer in service. I hope that I don't receive calls from them again.

Now you are telling us, in spite of multiple calls, you still do not know the name of that "Loan Forgiveness" company? Again, you said, "they are a legit student loan forgiveness company". YOU somehow came to that conclusion. YOU made that claim. It appears YOU are trying to convince visitors to this site that the company is legitimate as are phone calls from them.
Yet, you refuse to tell us anything about the company itself, in spite of talking to their associate?
Hmmmm.
Guess what? That phone number has now been "spoiled". - Mackenzie replies to Slim| 3 repliesNO! I am NOT trying to convince visitors of this site about about anything! Now whose making assumptions? That would be you. Like I said in my other post, the number has now been disconnected. Stop trying to pick a stupid fight with someone you don't know.
Thank you. - Information please replies to Mackenzie| 2 repliesyou posted that you received a phone call & know what they do. But you haven't posted any names, address, etc. What's the harm? Such information is public knowledge. You're being too defensive. If you have information about this company - post it. They're legit? Tell us all about it.
- Mackenzie replies to Information please| 1 replyThe number has been disconnected now but when I was on the phone with the female associate, she didn't give me the name of the company but she did say that the company was apart of the Obama Loan Forgiveness Act since 2007. She went on to say that they only deal with federal loans. Other than that, no other information was given. I never said in my statement that I know what they do.
- GateKeeper replies to MackenzieFun Fact -
Barack Obama took office Tuesday, January 20, 2009.
And there is no such thing as "The Obama Loan Forgiveness Act."
