They called me about as a reference to my friend..The company was called One Quick Cash, a cash advance company.They are doing a collection on her and wanted to verify her phone number and other things. I told them to hold on and didnt call back.

This company called my father asking to confirm my contact info for a loan I supposedly applied for.  Thank goodness my dad did not give out my info, I did not apply for a loan and I'm not sure how they got his information or knew that we were realted or knew each other...  Our personal info is out there for everyone to obtain - it is scary!

This company called about a "reference" for a "friend" of whom has been avoiding me for 2 years and even owes me money.  I told them I know nothing about her at this time and that they were going to be hard off finding her.

They called saying my daughter applied for a loan and she listed me as a reference and needed to ask me some questions. I told them them I do not give out any info unless I know it is a legitimate call. I told them I would speak to my daughter first and would call them back. They gave me their direct line and a reference number. (how tricky)
I spoke to my daughter that said she has no idea who these people are and the call is a scam. She has never applied for a loan.

they call me when i answer they want information, and if i ask to take a message no we will call back. plus if i miss the call they never leave a message.
