- Chas.AE-mail received like others. Dialed out of curiousity on a Sunday morning, blocking my phone #. Man's recorded message requested leaving phone number and some other info, but "don't leave them any message." Said need people with computer, phone and 15 hrs. a week, simply to return phone calls for 2 minutes to parties requesting them (for what?? - not indicated). Then will earn $1,500 - $3,500 per week. Didn't need college math courses to determine they indicate recipient will make $100 to $233.33 PER HOUR - and said some of their folks are into 5 figures weekly. Oh --- your phone must also have long distance capability.
The best one of these nonsensical, seemingly something-for-nothing big dollar e-mails, radio, mail and tv ads was one I saw a long time ago. It said - straight out - you could become rich (with their particular offering) WITHOUT EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, MONEY OR A LOT OF TIME REQUIRED. I admired their candor; most are like this one, which you can bet will involve some sort of disbursement on your part before you'll see any money to via FedEx or otherwise, if ever. - BUZZERCOthey are emails from (North Central Telephone Cooperative)[eneyrwocx@nctc.com] or customer of.
And are Phishing scams to collect info for ID theft I forwarded it and any others I get to 'phishing-report@us-cert.gov'; phishing@irs.gov
to be looked in to for phishing if you go to us-cert.gov and or irs.gov
it will tell you how to report them to help stop ID theft.- Caller: North Central Telephone Cooperative
- BUZZERCOAND I just found this information for the Phone calls form 1-800-318-7311
https://www.donotcall.gov/default.aspx
http://www.fcc.gov/cgb/donotcall/ - Mike800.318.7311 < Another number to add: Do not call any number for ANY reason that make you an "offer"...There are tones of ways that scams - Once you call and thus, confirm its a working US number - It can be used for all sorts of nasty things. Or just simply another peice of the puzzle...You have confirmed an email address - then a phone number, your home address is a peice of cake now and most likey from public records or in conversation "they have your name"...So, Looking at it from their perspective - They have a name with home address phone number & email..One could only wonder where that little bit of "innocent" information can take them. Be wise - Be smart - & Think WHY would anyone want to just email YOU for a job that anyone can do..
