- fishhunt| 3 repliesSherri Miller from IDCSERVCO. SELLING COPIER SUPPLIES !!!! FRAUD SCHEME!!!
- Caller: IDCSERVCO
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Alice replies to fishhunt| 2 repliesThis company constantly calls our company (from a blocked number) and asks for our model number on our copiers. They try to obtain the employees name who would normally order office supplies. And then use her name for future use to say that she was the one that ordered the product. They will send you cartridges and bill you an outrageous amount. They make it sound like you order from them all the time and that it is time to re supply you. MAJOR SCAM!!!!!!!! Shame on you "Global International"! And they get away with it because a lot of major corporations just pay the bill without looking into it! I'm sure they are making millions off of innocent people and companies. Such a disgrace! KARMA will get them eventually! The most recent call I received was from a "Steve Williams" so he said. And when I asked who his manager was, he said his name was Todd Daniels and put me on hold to talk to him, but after 15 minutes hung up on me. I asked what number he was calling from and he said 800-323-1000. SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!!!!! GET A REAL JOB AND EARN AN HONEST LIVING AND QUIT SCAMMING PEOPLE!
- CJWIn Toronto they run the same scam only they go by the company name "Providence Support"
Tried to convince us they were our regular toner company.- Caller: Providence Support
- Leslie replies to Alice| 1 replyWe've been dealing with "Providence Support Centre". Funny how all the employees we've spoke to seem to have names that consist of two first names: Steve Williams, Todd Daniels, Tony James, Geoffrey Stevens....
- Storm replies to LeslieLooks like this is still going on as I received a call from last week asking for the serial number for our Ricoh. Our printer is under a contract under a company who already has this information, so that should have been my first red flag. Then they called back this week letting me know they gave us a old quote, but would still honor the price they "quoted" us (which was $700) even though the price has gone up to $900. They claimed to be from Ricoh as well. Once I told them the company name that our printer is contracted under he said "Cockadoodledoo" and hung up. Even just a quick Google search of these guys, all that comes up is scam and fraud articles.
- JYThis scam continues. Received a call yesterday, 9/10/2019. They falsely claimed that they worked with our current Office Supply company. They made it sound like they were cutting us a deal for the next 12 months on printer ink. Had our model number of our printer. Talked to the shipping person who said they are not associated with our current office supply company. Called my office supply company who confirmed it. Watch out, they're sneaky. We're located in the Midwest US.

- AndrewThey called from a blocked number and said they were needing to send out a new document for our printer. They then asked for the receptionist name. She would not give it because we do not have the printer they were mentioning and thought it might be a scam. She then hung up on them. They called back over 20 times and tied up all of our phone lines for over 15 minutes. They eventually stopped calling today.

- Melissa at Non Profit800-323-1000 - called to inform me that pricing for ink cartridges have increased, apologizing for lack of notification; she continually tried to agree with what she was saying and repeated my name. When I told her that our cartridges are included in our contract and I only order direct with RICOH, she quickly terminated my call.

- AnnThe woman on the phone insisted she needed our copier number because the manufacturer needed to send us an updated catalog that was very important because of recalls. I refused to do so and asked for her phone number to call her back at. She was very insistent so I finally let her know that calls like these are scams and that we had received a new copier just a few days ago so what she had told me was a total lie. She insisted it wasn't. I laughed when I googled the phone number and read the other reviews.

- KrisReceived a call from Anonymous number and ask for his number, he said it's 800-323-1000. His name is Ally, his from the Philippines saying his calling from HP printer. Asking where to address the software update. This call was totally a scam, very rude and raising voice. Beware of this kind of call.
- Caller: HP PRINTER
- Call type: Unwanted
- TinaCalled to inform us that will be going up and our pricing will remain the same this year. What a joke.. we do not pay for toners since it's part of our lease contract.
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- TiffanyReceived call from "Anonymous". Was asked to provide HP printer serial number for new manual coming out. The caller kept referencing the printer in the front office...which we don't have. I tried to take a message but they were rather pushy so eventually I ended the conversation.
- SPGot two calls from a "Justin Garcia" from an anonymous number - same story as most of these other commenters. There's been a price increase on my RICOH printer toner, they're quoting me at a lower price, etc. I played along for a bit, being very vague. He said the "shipping" department will be calling to confirm tomorrow. Definitely won't be answering the call.
- Caller: RICOH Distribution Center for Toner

- DylanCalled and asked about copier, said we've used them in the past and was trying to "lock in past pricing". Tried to get me to confirm a shipment at a previous price. Called from an anonymous number...
