Called once each day on three separate days in the past week, no message left on answering service.

One call. No message. Waiting to hear from others...

There are many reasons a call from an 800 number may not leave a message, but two predominate:

• Leaving, say, a 30-second message takes, obviously, 30 seconds. Many bulk callers would prefer that this time be spent dialing other numbers, hoping to get a live human, rather than leaving a message that will probably generate no response.

• Leaving a message gives the recipient concrete evidence that may be used in court if the caller is up to something illegal (even if the illegal activity in nothing more than the violation of the Do Not Call registry, though it often is with scam calls and debt collectors who violate the FDCPA and similar laws).

This number has been calling our office for over 2 weeks, at least once a day, sometimes more.  Phone Rings, when you answer no one is on the other end...  Silent for a few seconds then it goes to a dial tone.

I did not picked up.  Google say its from apaetec cooperation.

Did not answer the call the first time but found out later it has to do with a mail out of proxies for openheimer investment.  I let my husband talk to them and then I labeled the number in my contacts so I can chose to not answer,

This number has called 7 times today, and over the last several weeks, calls at least daily, sometimes several

Same with me. Calls my direct line. Usually I just let it go to voicemail because I see that it's an 800 number calling which is odd at my job. Today I picked up and just silence. No person, robot, background noise or anything.

glad to have your information-I have been getting called by this number daily and often am, afternoon and then evening.  I did get mail from Oppenheimer about proxy voting so am glad to learn that this is likely about the voting-one would think they would leave a message however

I do not answer when they call several times a day they even called on a sunday its getting ridiculous And the Do Not Call list isnt worth much been on that for about a year now but they keep calling

when the ID machine showed a call again today, I returned the call and the first available operator took me quickly-clear spoken English speaking young woman-I asked her company name and she said the openheimer proxy voting firm (something like that).  I said I did not recognize the name and said that I had been receiving calls three times a day for about a week now and would like it to cease.  Did they have a do not call list I could go on?-she asked for phone number (no caller ID there?) and I did give it to her-she replied "and I am speaking to First Name Last Name (my correct name) but I lied and said no, did not know that name.  She apologized and said she guessed the company had an incorrect number in their listings and said she would remove the number.  Do not know if this will work but......

Get this call 5-10 times a day. Wish it would stop.
