got a call from this number. left a voice mail from a guy named andrew saying he needed to speak to me about an important matter.

The company is National Credit Management, Inc.  They are located in St. Louis, MO.   They collect on debt owed to Universities and Colleges.   They called me about student loan debt.  Talking to them gave me the ability to consolidate all of my loans and drop my payments to an affordable level.

I got an email from Tony Jackson. This email was sent to en email address that i just opened up a few months ago....the email address has nothing to do with school or anything. In the email the guy just gave his name and number and an extension and reference number. I was wondering if anyone else has received any emails. The email subject was Western Michigan University which was a school i attended a few years ago but now i go to another college. If someone could help me understand what this company or guy is doing i would greatly appreciate it.

This company called and misrepresented themselves to gain collection information a relative who no longer lives at this address. When the message was passed along to that relative, he called them and found out they are a collection agency for student loans.

I received a voicmail from them saying that it was someone from the IL State Board of Education and that he sent me a very important package and wanted to make sure I received it.  I did not receive the package and am pretty sure they are mis-representing themselves.

They are a collection company that collects on defaulted school loans or debts. They actually treat people with respect.  They did not speak to me abusively like alot of my other collectors. They gave me the option to consolidate my student loans. I did not even know where all of mine were. I was able to get a lower payment and all my loans out of default. Now I can go back to school in the summer. Hope this helps.

This company called and misrepresented themselves by telling me they were looking to contact a cousin of mine who had listed me as a reference in some paper work.  I suspect the company trolled Facebook for my connection to this cousin as it's the only contact I've had with her in over a decade.  They called my cell number, which this cousin has never known.  She confirmed that she has never listed me as a reference on any paperwork.

Same here.. they said my name was given as a reference by someone .. like it was a job reference, and they had been unable to reach him.  They asked me to have this person call them. Deceitful.  My number is unlisted.. they are trolls.  Looking to collect on a college loan.  If they would have been truthful I'd have no problem.  Misrepresentation = zero respect.

I get one or two calls from this number but not one message.  I thought it was a solicitation to sell something.

I had fell behind on my student loans so I said what the heck and called them up. Surprisingly they DID NOT cuss me out or verbally abuse me like other agencies. They actually treated me like a normal human being.  I was able to consolidate my loans with the Dept of Education and get out of default. And my also payments got lower. I am actually happy with National Credit Management. Now I got a fresh start with my student loans!

Not sure how I should proceed with this group.  They've called me repeatedly and I have sent them a written request for documentation about these alleged loans.  I use "alleged" because my loans DID default and I had my tax returns withheld for 5-6 years until they were all paid.  I have YET to receive the written response I asked for almost 3 months ago with the documentation I asked for.  My ex-husband (now deceased) had caused me some problems and there are items on my credit report that I have no idea where they came from; addresses where I never lived, etc.  All I want before talking to them is a common frame of reference, but this basic request has been ignored.  Ugh!  I ask for respect and get ignored!  Guess what?  So do they.

Got a call from this number on my cell and my work phone and they represented themselves as an employer and said that someone has used me as a reference and asked me to call back. Not happening. They person they are looking for did default on a school loan.

Please have Ben at ext 265 stop stalking me. He calls my family, non-family, and my work.

I am constantly receiving prank calls from 1800333-3169 every day! 2x a day! However I have absolutely no business ties to this company, as this number calls, I answer the caller continues to hang up!!!!! I then finally called this number back and asked. What company was this, the female then told me N.C.M. I asked her what did this stand for? She stated National Credit Management, I then explained the nature of me calling this number. And asked what her name is! She stated Amy!!! Somehow I could tell she is lying & covering for someone else! She then went on to explain she is looking for a Mr, Thomas! Someone @ this company is abusing telephone time and I will find out exactly who you are!! But first I will submit a report in respects this number never has the privileges to prank call my number again! Then I'll wait for results! 1 week without any results and I'll find you and explain to you ....................

Same here.  I avoided their phone calls for months, because I can't stand speaking to collectors.  But, they were so different.  I talked to Jennifer Morgan.  She was so great to work with.  The debt i had was with Colorado College, for like 20k.  She helped me consolidate all of my student loans, and even told me how to get deferment for 3 years.

They must not work on commission, or something.  I guess that's why most collectors are mean, because they just want your money.  I could tell Jennifer was only trying to help me, not herself.  

I'm very thankful that I talked with them.  If you get a call from this #, i suggest you pick up!!  They are here to help!!

Just fyi!  They have their reps post here good stuff about the company--- it's crap- so don't believe the posts

This is very untrue.  We've never been told to "write about ourselves" on these sites.  Why don't you check out our BBB, and then come back here and let me know what you see. You'll see an A+ rating.  People feel good when they hang up with us, because we help them.  We don't badger them like other agencies do.  We know that we don't make money by being rude, or making these students/borrowers feel like crap.  We're here to help!!

If this were a legitimate company the caller ID would identify who they are and they would identify themselves and why they are calling. I keep getting what I have to assume are calls intended to harass from this number... they ring my phone and then hang up without identifying themselves or speaking. After we log a few more of their attempts at harassment it will be time to file a lawsuit.

Obviously you troll these pages if you respond to Amy's post.  Proves how deceitful you and your company are.
