- lol1-800-333-3169 called and said they were looking for my brother w/ no success. When I called my brother to tell him, he said the same guy just called him looking for me. It was a guy named Ben King @ 1-800-333-3169 Ext 265. He wouldn't give any info. Said he has been trying to mail forms to my brother and hasn't heard back from him.
- Ricky Burns| 1 replyI have been avoiding their calls for a while. But I finally did call them back. I did talk to Ben King. I was also surprised that they DID NOT threaten me. They actually seemed to be NICER. I have a lot of other collectors calling me and they are horrible. But this guy was pretty nice :) My Wayne State University Perkins loans had fell into default. They did give me the option to consolidate my student loans. I sent in the forms and was able to get everything rolled into one loan through Sallie Mae and Dept of education for free. I am now going to put my loans in deferrment. These guys are not that bad. They did help me. . But if u have past due student loans, then u might try to call them back.

- Edith| 2 repliesMy aunt received a call from this number asking for me and I called back and spoke to Ben. He was polite, kind and very helpful. Nothing like any other collection agency I've ever spoken to. He helped me resolve my issue and that was that. No negative things to say.

- Jimmy replies to Aaron| 2 repliesBoy! This doesn't feel scripted at all :). I don't for one second suspect that you may have been paid by this company to put something super duper ruper muper positive about them on this site.
- H. J.Time to anoint this thread in Extra Strength Shill-B-Gone!
- NeverWentToCollegeIdk why I am being contacted. I have never been to college. Some Teresa Schulte woman calls me and leaves me voicemails saying to call her immediately. I have never had a student loan ever.

- Drea| 1 replyFor three years I had perfect credit. Not a ding. I attended SNHU and chose not to enroll in another semester after it was discovered that "fees" were not included in financial aid. I completed one semester there and in the second semester these "fees" popped up. I chose not to enroll for a third semester because of these surprise "fees". This was in 2011. Low and behold here is 2015 and this debt surprisingly shows up. I disputed it promptly and got a typed breakdown of "fees" for a semester I NEVER enrolled in. I contacted NCM and they were completely NOT helpful at all. Even wanting me to get on threeway with SNHU and "confirm" the debt. SNHU enrolled me in a term when I did not give them permission to and now I cannot get this off my credit and this b.s debt is harming me. NCM DOES NOT help.

- Liar Police replies to DreaJust got a message from a guy there. He said a relative of mine put me down as a reference and could I relay a message to her because he hasn't been able to get in touch. First of all who would want to hire someone they can't reach and secondly the guy was so bad he didn't even leave his name.
- gemini replies to KaylaI got a call a few days ago. I will answer next time after reading this. Thanks for an honest answer....Most seem scripted!
- YourNameCalled my parents and left a message on their PRIVATE cell phone, asking for me by a name I haven't used in 30 YEARS in regards to someone I've never heard of. Whatevs. Not calling them back.
- CorinneI'm receiving messages from this number every single day at work. They don't call my direct work line or my cell # because they obviously don't have that info, but rather they call the front desk and are then transferred to my direct line. The woman says she is "returning my call" on the message every time. What call?? I have never contacted this company before and requested a return call, especially to the front desk of my office. Why would I ASK a debt collector to call me every single day, sometimes even twice a day? I know I do have an old student loan debt that was never consolidated and therefore not paid. I was paying it off through "Virtuoso Resourcing Group" and then one day my check was returned with a note saying my debt was no longer with the company, so obviously the payments, which were all I could afford, weren't good enough. I am assuming the debt is now with this company and none of those previous payments (nearly $3k at the end of it all) have been applied. I refuse to throw away anymore money and I know from working with Virtuoso that the debt with "interest" had compiled to a point where a piddly $3,500 Perkins loan that never got consolidated (if it had this wouldn't be an issue) is now almost $10K and these companies are not willing to work with me on compromising a lesser amount. I am happy to pay the $3500 (which is what I owe according to my credit report by the way) and reconcile the debt but apparently that's not an option or it would have been paid off by now through Virtuoso. It seems as though I must be completely wiped out and ripped off in order for these companies to be satisfied and I'm not playing that game. I pay my student loans every month and this one just happened to slip through the cracks and now equals HALF of all my other student loans combined. Really??!! Not my fault but now obviously my problem. Really stinks. PLUS, my tax returns are garnished every year so the debt IS being paid. I'm just not sure to whom, but that's not my problem. I have a lawyer investigating this company in case they try to take me to court. We will have all our ducks in a row once/if they do. Every call I get is emailed automatically to a log (even if they don't leave a message) so I can prove the harassment, and the voicemails are being saved to prove the false and deceiving nature of their tactics. So keep 'em coming guys...
