How do we catch this guy?

emailed us looking to purchase medical equipment.  the written language is very broken up and does not make sense.  these emails are always false and we don't even bother with them.

We received this email July 28th. That isn't our email address.. but I'm sure we were on the bcc line.  The incorrect grammar is usually a red flag for me as well as the disconnected phone number.  Then, finding this site... it looks like these people are a scam.

I am glad I checked the Company on line.  It brought me here, and I see, which I already had a feeling, that it is fraud.  It saved us a lot of time and money.  Also, to let people know that they should be aware of companies who would like to purchase from their "Store". Most of these are also Purchased with stolen credit cards.

James suppliers international, had an "URGENT ORDER" on a Sunday and wanted Thousands of dollars of computers with a response same day, and wanted to pay with their credit card.  It appeared suspicous and once we looked into it we determined it to be fraud.  Gmail accounts are notorious for this kinds of problems.

The phone number given was not available.

We had a guy named Smith Cole request and Urgent quote and then presented (2) credit cards for purchase of a piece of medical equipment in the amount of $5,000.  He wanted the equipment shipped Fed-X first Overnight and wanted the tracking numbers before close of business.   The phone number he gave was a fax# and was unable to communicate directly with Smith Cole.  We asked for our sales contract to be signed and returned.  Smith Cole responded and said he was unable to get faxes to me as he was out of office, but authorized us to go ahead and ship the equipment.  I googled Smith Cole and the town of Pfafftown NC and found this site.  Glad I was paranoid.  Called the USAA credit card number listed in an above post and found the cards did not match Smith Cole or Abek Medical.
