MCM is a sub company of Encore Capital Group...they buy debt & try to collect. But be weary, they could also be scam callers. If they call from one number & advise you to call another number, chances are they are scammers. Callers are from India with very American names is another red flag. If you have debt work directly with reputable debt collectors, not these people.

Geez, another debt collector calling you?  What is this now, 6 or 7 different ones?  Maybe you should pay your bills?

I'm not sure why you would want people to be tired.  However that debt collection company does use call centers in India and other places, calling on one number and leaving a toll free number to call does not indicate an automatic scam.

I receive calls from MCM everyday at different times from early morning to late night calls.  I do not have any debt.  These are possible scammers.  The phone numbers are different everything.  Please do not answer these calls

I don't owe them any money and they keep calling with different numbers.  Send something in writhing to me

If there is a debt due, why don't they send something in the mail, instead of calling all the time with different numbers?

They are not required to send anything in the mail until after first contact.

This number called me but didn't leave a message. I was curious and tried to call back, but I got "sorry, your call cannot be completed." I have no idea why they are calling, and I have no debt.
