Little word of advice for anyone, If you have someone calling your house, or places you used to live, its a colllection call. A personal business matter is 100% all the time a collection agency, and the reason why people are getting calls at their parents house which they havent lived at for years is because the collector is skip tracing that person. That means they they have tools to find out almost everything about you, where you used to live your ssn#, assets, work places, relitaves, friends, credit reports, you name WE use it. If you dont return the phone calls, the calls will continue and your credit report will be effected. I strongly recomend calling back and speaking about your account. Calling up an agency and telling them to stop calling you is not going to do anything. Yo

Called my cell phone several times saying "important personal business, please call". Used to say "important personal business - for Linda, if you're not LInda, please call....". Number to call is 800-900-1380.

Call from Natalie Martin for my daughter, regarding a 'personal business matter' with no further information ... no account number or anything.  I will ignore this type of phone call from now on.

"Carol Ford" is the name that is calling on a business matter.

ive gotten a few calls from "natalie" which were pretty cold and rude from the start
i owe money for a medical bill from a year ago that i was unaware of
i mailed out the money but i still get calls from "nicky clark" at this phone number.
its a collection agency and it gives me a headache.

let 'em call till they go hoarse. most times when  you do speak to them - they are jack-[***] and have all attitude like everyone is a deadbeat. i would trade the past five years of my life with ANY one of theirs - no question...   btw  if they are calling you   your credit report is ALREADY affected... just another scare tactic from people who make a living of the troubles of others.  A little word of advice... they are NOT your friend  they DONT care about you , just getting back more on the dollar than they bought the account for.  there is a reason collection agencies have one of the very  highest consumer complaint ratings.

you want all this crap to stop?   or at least become fair? Vote out your current US congress(wo)man and senator, put in new blood, and demand they regulate credit card/bank loans so they cant keep gutting people with endless doubled and tripled fees when you run into trouble. They make SOOOOOOOOOOO much money on credit accounts it is incredible. When they sell them off to collection agencies it is often for 50% of the amount owed.. and THEY STILL MADE MONEY OFF YOU.   Regulate banks   limit credit interest rates and stop UNFAIR bank rip-off policies like being able to change the terms on their whim, ELIMINATE "universal default" - where they all up your interest rates when you are late on JUST ONE account...  finally, 18% is the HIGHEST it ever should get... charging people who are in difficulties 29.99% with late fees and over limit fees is EVIL.

This one called and said her name was Beth. Not very nice unprofesional.

Sheri Allan called someone elses number looking for me.  I returned the call.  I was told that she was going to be on the phone for over and hour and to leave the wrong number that was called.  I asked what the company did and they said they couldn't tell me!  How stupid is that.

The collection agency is Gragil Associates, Inc., 29 Winter St., Pembroke, MA 02359, Local 781-826-7074 or 800-336-0299. Thanks to an inept local hospital Patients Account rep and an even more inept hospital billing system (only one billing), I was hit with an out of the blue collection letter from Gragil for a hospital bill I thought I had fully paid off. I replied to Gragil with a letter of explanation, the first of a monthly payment and a montly payment schedule. Still they call, as if that is going to make any difference in the payment schedule. They can call as often as they like, but don't expect a return call. Since it sounds like these folks are sleezeballs, I learned a long time ago that when communicating with sleezeballs, it's to my legal advantage to have any and all communications in writing. So, if they want to communicate, send a letter.

Fax them a letter advising them that there will be a charge of $500 per call for harrassement.

not true they tell you BEFORE your credit is affected. Also they do not own my debt; I called the hospital myself and they do not sell the account instead they have graygil try to get the $$$ out of me. Sorry Carol Ford but you can't get blood from a stone!

Medical Debt collector...

No way to stop having the jerks call. I have a chronic condition...even if I was rolling in cash wouldn't be able to pay this in the time frame they want.. That's ok 2012 and there wont be a paper trail anyhow.No need for credit then, invest in GOLD.
