I got a call from this number and it went to voicemail and .nobody left a message.

I got a call as well, this afternoon. I picked up and it was someone saying they can help me with my student loans.
I asked them to call back and to send me an email for further information. They had my correct email.
4 hours later and still no email.

This is a scam. They do not know the difference between deferment and forbearance. They claim to help with student loans by saying the my rates will continue to go up when I have fixed rated loans. I have asked them to stop calling multiple times and yet they keep calling. It should against the law to have a website that implies that it is associated with the government yet ends with .com

They called my cell at 10:52AM and left this message "Hi this is the student loan assistance center, we have an conditional approval for your federal student loans, you are eligible for a lower monthly payment and loan forgiveness, please call us today at 1-800-343-1042 to take advantage of your approval, thank you and have a great day."

They left me a voicemail for student loan assistance, my student loans are paid off and NO I will not give you my SSN!
