A man called my job today and ask for me. The lady in the office told him I was not there. They gave her a message for me to call them back at 800 346 0017, said it was Ford Motor Credit. I have no loan nor have I ever had a loan with them. Sounds funny to me.

The number that shows up on my caller id on my cell phone is: 313-212-2022. It is from Detroit, MI. I don't even live CLOSE to that number!!!!  I live in West Texas for heaven's sake!!! And this stupid number keeps f*cking calling me!!!! And then when I did pick up and finally let the voice mail go  through its routine, it was a automated voice telling me another number: 800-346-0017. And if it is Ford Credit as you guys say it is, I don't evenown a Ford car anymore. Haven't owned one for at least 7 to 8 years. WTF???

Hey, got the name for the number that has been practically harassing me!!! Daniel Cesarz in Detroit, Michigan. If he calls me again, I am SO busting this guy for fraud!!! If he or it calls again, I'm gonna tell him I'm gonna contact the police for harassement.

Keep getting a call from 313-216-2022. The leave a scratchy barely audible message that simple says "please call 800-346-0017". No info on who is called. When I call there is  a recording saying I called Ford and asks for my SS#. No explanation, no other information, just a recording demanding my SS#. Very suspicious.

Got a message on my answering machine a guy that I could barely understand said it was important to call back. He did say it was Ford Motor Credit. I did have a loan through them about 25 years ago. I googled the number and came across this site. Thanks to all for the helpful information.  I wouldn't have called back because it seemed so sketchy but it is nice to know for sure so I am not wondering about it.

They call me & leave a VM ~ no identification of who they are, anything. Caller ID says 313-216-2022. I just delete. I do NOT answer anyone who won't tell me who they are!!

This number calls constantly leaving no message but to call 800-346-0017 that it is repeated twice to make sure that you get the number, but the number recorded on my electronic system does not record that number but it records 1-313-216-2022. I do not try calling back either number for fear that it is a scam.

Apparently, they are still at it...received two calls within minutes of each other. I knew it wasn't Ford Credit. Get a job, losers.

So they were Ford Motor Credit. My brother works for Ford, I asked him and he said that the only number he knows is +1-800-727-7000. I am also in perfect standing with Ford Credit so there is no reason for them to contact me. This is more than likely a scam

Have received 21 calls from 313 216 2022 the message always gives the same call back number of 1800-346-0017. There have been 3 different voices on the message. One not very audio le and scratchy. One A Woman AND Other A Very Clear Guys Voice SPEAKING english. His message is asking for someone different a Mindy R..... can't quite catch the last name Ruin possibly??? Caller gives name as Ruben

If you search this number 800-346-0017 and 313-216-2022 they both tie back to law firms (different ones) that have webpages asking "have you been called by Ford Credit"... sounds like a scam or some kind of troll for clients.

Got a call, claiming to be Ford credit. Left the call back number 800-346-0017.
It's BULL***T. DO NOT CALL IT BACK, OR GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION!!!
If you owe Ford money, they already have your information, and wouldn't need it again.

These people keep calling! We have no issue with FMC. How to stop this poor fella before I lose my temper and yell at him. Tried blocking. They have every phone number  and last 4 ss!

They're still at it, called my office asking to speak to the owner or accounts payable, caller ID came up as FORD and the number was 313-216-2022. When I told them they weren't available and asked what this was about so I could take a message, she refused to give me any information other than her "name", that she was with ford credit, and to call back the 800-346-0017 number, which is not the phone number for ford credit. Definitely a phishing scam, was surprised to see they've been going on for so long with the same phone numbers.
