- wigI have been receiving calls from this number. I avoid unknown calls like the plaque due to so many telemarketing nuisance calls. After reading several posts here, I decided to call the number. It is an automated system fromGE Capital concerning receipt of my recent purchase.
- Caller: GE Capital
- Call type: Survey
- JPI received 2 calls from this number (800-346-3425) and after reading the posts above, called the number back. It was GE Money Bank wanting to confirm that I received my products and if I was satisfied.
- Caller: GE Money Bank Credit Card
- jcdid not order or charge on a ge credit card --- recorded message was sent to a new disposable cell phone. Computer glich or scam? they were checking to see if received the ordered merchandise.
- Caller: ge "something or other"
- mmm replies to Mark P.| 2 repliesJust opened a card w/GE for carpet at Empire. I haven't even gotten my first bill and they are calling already???
- mmm replies to mmm| 1 replyOkay..finally got a hold of this Number. It was all automated wanting to know if we received our purchase.
- PaulLike others, call I received is from GE Capital. I was suspicious getting the message from the call because caller ID just says "Toll-Free Number". I was leery about returning call and giving any identifying info, until I read other entries here about the number. Calling the number back, and it was automated: no request for SS# or account #; just "press 1 if you've received your purchased items, press 2 if you haven't".
Pretty cheesy, but typical. The toll-free number on the back of the card gives info only specific to its categories. The recording states that other information requiring a live customer service rep will cost $25.- Caller: GE Capital

- JoanReceived 2 calls today from 800 346 3425. I did not answer and they did not leave a message.
- TomThis is an automated phone call from GE capital checking to make sure we got all or furniture.
I agree with what someone else wrote earlier that this is VERY poor customer service, they should at the very least put their name in the caller ID.- Caller: GE Capital

- Stan D. MannI was in the middle of a service call - when my home phone rang... I bailed on my customer, since my Mother-In-Law is very ill - and it may have been emergent.
I ran from my office to my home phone and picked up the phone on the second ring... I didn't even bother checking Caller-ID.
I was greeted with SILENCE - I waited 5 seconds - and hung up and went back to my customer.
Unwanted Calls are bad... ROBO-CALLS are worse... but the calls where you're interrupted... on YOUR TIME, and the caller isn't immediately there - are THE WORST. - BzzzIt's legitimate...a call from GE Money to verify recently financed purchase...in my case, Mohawk Carpeting. Just a couple of automated questions to verify it's me, and then a press 1 if I received all of my merchandise, 2 if not.
Strange way of conducting business, but guess they have a valid interest in confirming my purchase and charge.
Caller ID did not identify them- Caller: GE Financial on behalf of Mohawk Carpeting

- WendyVery grateful for this post. I too have received numerous calls from this number but haven't answered. We did recently purchase some furniture so it's good to know. Thx for the info.
- vikiI received 2 calls from 800-346-3425 today and when I answered the first call and it was automated I hung up. Then I got another call and did not answer and no message was left. If it was in fact GE then it probably was about the furniture I just purchased but if this continues I am sending the furniture back. It is not very professional to handle your customers this way
- Caller: ??
- Sr. CitizenAfter calling the number back, they referred me to another number which told me that G. E. Capital Bank has changed it's name to Synchrony Bank.
- Caller: automated call from Synchrony Bank
- MikeI got a call this morning 8/9/14 from this number. I did not pickup and they did not leave a message. I have recently made a furniture purchase using GE credit. I assume they were following up just as the other notes here state.
- JohnSame thing as several others, GE/Synchrony bank, furniture purchase, automated call to verify that I had in fact made a purchase and received the product.
- Caller: Synchrony bank
- TedThis is a call from Synchrony Bank to verify a recent purchase charged to your card (they are the card issuing bank for many companies). They just ask if you received the merchandise. If you did not, they offer you an opportunity to report it. Otherwise, that's all.
- Caller: Synchrony Bank
- daveThey just want to verify that I was satisfied with purchase for new furniture, its GE/Synchrony bank, furniture purchase. that is all .
- Caller: GE/Synchrony bank, furniture purchase
- DebbieReceived an automated call from this #. As per previous comments if this is from GE Money Bank I do not and have never had an account with this company. Don't know how they got my # and calling me but said to push any key which I did and then the call was disconnected. Automated callers should be banned quite frustrating and annoying.
- GershSynchrony Bank. I received about 15 calls over two weeks until they finally left an automated voicemail. A call back recognizes your number and account and asks whether or not you received you merchandise. In my case I had purchased musical equipment from Sweetwater. Super annoying but legit. No personal information was asked for.
- Caller: Synchrony Bank
- Call type: Survey
- Jerry PInfo is correct. Synchrony Bank simply wanted to verify furniture delivery received and OK to charges on account.
