I had the exact same call, except by a gentlemen named Terry Porter supposedly - BBB is only open 3 hours Monday - Thursday in our town.  I will be speaking with a representative on Monday morning.

First, we own our copier/scnner/fax machine and there is a company that maintains it, so when he started asking how things were going, I thought - ok no big deal, they're just checking in. (the company was just bought out by a new owner, so I haven't had a chance to get to know how they operate yet.) What started alarm bells was James (800-352-3000 ext 18) saying out toner would go up $64 per toner. Ours cost less than $20. I told him I wasn't by the copier to give him the numbers he needed and if I could get his number, then I'd get the number he needs and call him back. I asked him who he was with and it was like Allied Supplies or something. I know that is not the name of the company we use - since I order all products for the entire office.
Needless to say he won't be getting a call back.

I just got a call from a man named Pete who said that he is with our copier company. He starting by apologizing that the company had increased the cost of the toner for our copier last month and that we were not notified.  He said that his boss was authorizing him to sending us a toner at the old price since we were never notified in the amount of $300 or so.  But he said that his boss was willing to send us a new toner at the old price since we were never notified of the increase.  When I told him that I was not the authorized person, but before I would confirm this information I asked his name, where was he calling from (he said Imaging) and for his phone number 1 800 352-3000.  He asked for the spelling of my last name, the fax number and my address.  When he mentioned the address it was an address we hadn't been at for more that 8 years.  When I told him I was not the authorized person to confirm this order and I would let him speak to the attorney in the office, hung up the phone.  I called the number he gave me and it is busy.  Good thing I was questioning this call and not provided any other information.

"Ron" called yesterday and nearly fooled our front desk person. Called today and I played along, asking how we could reach him when we were ready to order, and he provided the 800-352-3000 number. He knows the actual name of the company we hold our copier lease through, and the manufacturer of our copier, and I SUSPECT it's because a couple weeks back a gentleman managed to push his way into the copier room on the pretense of giving a quote before I told him to GTFO.

Just got a call from Crown Office 800-352-3000 wanting to get our "one last order to us before the price of our toner went up".  When I asked him who in our office had placed the order he hung up.  When you call back the # it is busy everytime

Called identified himself as "Scott Kelly" with Panasonic.  Was offering a special deal on Panasonic ink.  A total scam.

We have had multiple calls from this company over the past month.    All ending in hang ups.    Today, "Rob" called back and introduced himself as the guy who hung up on me back on December 12th.    I asked what company he was with and he became the guy who hung up on me on January 16th too!

I did not check this site until today when I received a package of toner from Mainfreight Supply Warehouse.  No invoice, Im sure that is coming, but fromt he phone number listed on the package, I called and spoke to Customer service, Nick I believe.   They RECORD all conversations so they have backup.  But they aren't the originators of the sale they say.. They claim 800-352-3000 is.  I called that number and of course its always busy never to ring.  I called Nick back to let him know that I never called to place the order, I never agreed to any sale, just agreed that my address is correct, verified the model number and gave my name.  Now, I deal strictly with PO#'s for all purchases so no PO means never authorized.  I gave Nick this webpage info and he looked at him himself.  He gave me the return address saying no RMA was needed.  It goes back today.  If an invoice comes here they can expect me to react in an unkind manner.  I dont recall the name of the toner company with the original call, didn't think anything of it since I was just listening to them tell me about the price of toner cartriges going up but they will honor the lower price for the next year.  I listened, thanked for info, and a few days later got another call verifying that I got a call about toner reduction and verifying the model of my machine...now I got a toner in the mail.  Now I know its a scam, Ive told the shipper (I have to assume they know even if they claim not to) and Id say YOU (yes you reading this now) wouldn't have checked this page if the same thing hasn't happened to you.

Someone came to my door on Sunday with a notice form my "Mortgage Company" claiming to be urgent. It was a pretty plain envalope with out any of my mortgage information or as so much as my name. It had this phone number attaached to call it. I called it all day and just kept getting a busy signal. The man who delivered it was a white male with a cap driving a red BMW. I was worried being that it was from my mortgage company but had not recieved any phone calls or e-mails from them. They have 5 ways of getting a hold of me, yet they sent somone to my house with a notice? Does not make any sense...i don't know what this is about....

I've received two calls from these [***].  First was Kelly Gains who pulled the whole "we're increasing the prices of our toner so we'll send out the next order under the old price since your office didn't get the memo..." garbage.  I'm new to my office; I didn't know about this crap.  I just thought she's letting us know and I never once authorized an order.  The next day, some fool calls to confirm my order with Kelly the previous day.  I went bonkers as my boss already filled me in about this pathetic fools after my initial call with Kelly.  I went off and Kelly got on the line...very rude and short with me.  I told her that any packages she sends will be denied and not accepted and I didn't authorize anything.  She said I had misunderstood our conversation from yesterday and that she'd cancel my order.  

Fast forward one month later, Mark Taylor calls from this place and says I'm an idiot when I refuse to give the printer number nor pass the call to "someone who knows what they're doing." I told him he's a scam artist, rude, and unprofessional and he got REALLY pissed.  Silly little man.  He refused to tell me where he's calling from when I asked for the name of the company two times and, when I was jokingly telling my boss what he was saying on the phone, he asked angrily "who are you talking to?!"  He was fishing around for ANY names to use for the order.   I'm actually looking forward to him calling again.  These people are super fun to f*ck with.

Got a call from a Christopher Cherry at 1-800-352-3000. I have had these calls before and assumed that it was a call from Lewan regarding the new copier. We have a contract with lewan - we never need to buy toner. I got nervous as I've had calls from this group in the past, and got his number - ex. 34

Only a busy signal when I call back. Who are these people? Does anybody know a company name?

I have received two calls from this blocked number. When I asked the guys for his name and a phone number to call him back it was 1-800-352-3000 his name was Charles Smith and the company name he said he was with Nationwide copy supply. He began telling me he had good news for me about our copier machine model 400ci and the toner for which we had ordered?  we had been given the WRONG cost amount and that he could get it for us for the OLD cost amount of $460.00. Me being a retired Sheriff working undercover in the past I saw all the RED flags. I continue to keep him on the line asking him more questions. Ones he said he couldn’t answer and would have someone else call me back and confirm my order and the shipping address. I received my second call today from a guy named David Adams again the phone number being blocked from caller ID. And stated he was with the same company, He was calling to get my order placed and mailing address.
I asked before I get this approved, I needed for him to either fax me over the quote or email it to me. I would need to get it approved first from my manager. He started back peddling and said well if you’re not the one who OK’s the ordering of the toner we will need to speak with your manager instead. I informed him to call back and I will see if she is available for you to speak to.  FYI: I knew this was a SCAM because we have a contract with a local company who supplies all of our office TONERS and supplies for all of our office machine and we have a service contract in place. So please don’t be SCAMMED by this company. If they can’t fax, email or supply you with information prior them HANG UP..

These scammers are horrible.  Do not give them any information.

Just received a call from "Nationwide Business Systems".  Stating that we called and ordered a toner on the 3rd and he wanted to verify our machine Model #.  Well I place all orders in the office and could not remember doing this.  Well I told him I would need to call him back.  He gave me this number.  Called the people we have the contract with on our toners and they said they do not work with this company in any shape or form.  Tried to call "Brad Jones" back and got the busy signal.  This company has now been added to the "do not accept packages from" list.

Toner Scam

"Michael Green" just called our office (first thing Monday morning), asking for the model number.
We have multiple multi-function machines. When my co-worker asked which one he was talking about, he said the main one. Red flags went up, and she didn't give out any info. When she tried to get more information from him, he hung up. She called our IT people to confirm if he works for them, and they said no.

Tim Harris called our office this morning to apologize for not calling us regularly regarding our Ricoh copier and how it is working.  Is it running well, clean copies, no smoke which would mean overuse, maybe from us printing too much money on our copier ?!
He also apologized for missing our last shipment of toner for our copier and that it would be sent by UPS today (6/16th) and be received on the 17th or 18th.  He asked for more information on our copier, my last name, continued to joke about printing money, etc.  As I started to tell him that we receive toner as a part of our contract and it is not an additional charge, he quickly hung up !!

Said he needed to update his information regarding our copier MODEL #.
It comes across as UNKNOWN NUMBER.....but, I asked who he was, what
company he was with....and his phone number.....see above.
SPAM caller......placed him on hold.....until he hung up.

I got a call from 1-800-352-3000
They claimed to be our toner supplier notifying me that they had increased our toner prices and were offering me a deal.
I asked for a number to return their call and she gave me this number and I looked it up on the internet and got to here.
I will not be returning that call.

A man named Pete from 1-800-352-3000 called our office and said he was with our copier company.  He apologized that his office had not yet contacted us regarding an increase in the cost of toner cartridges that was effective January 2019.  As a courtesy, he wanted to offer us one last toner order at the cheaper price.  I knew he sounded sketchy because he didn't identify the name of the company we use for our office equipment AND he was fishing for product information - go look at your printer to determine model number.  The "get it today at a cheap price" scam was disgustingly obvious.  He said that the "warehouse" would be calling back to confirm the order on Tuesday of next week (today is Thursday 1/3/19).  He told us to stated that this is a "verbal" PO and that we/me is authorized to order - "YES".  When we tried calling this number back, 1-800-352-3000, it wasn't a good number - we heard the fast busy prompt/no answer/no ring.
