Me too, and when you call them back they don't say who they are

Debt collectors looking for someone

This number just called my mother and told her they needed to verify my information.  They told her that I had applied for a loan and put her down as a reference.  I am in Chapter 13 Bankruptcy and cannot apply for anything on credit until I am discharged.  I tried to call the number back and it said to call back during business hours.

I received a phone call from this number, they told me that my friend listed me as a reference.  The guy on the phone ask me to verify my friend's number, they pretended they were a payday loan service.

I got a call from this number as well. They said someone had put me down for a reference on a financial application of some sort.  Its probably a payday loan service or some other similar entity. I did not know the person who had filled out the application. I also did not know the person they were asking for at my number.
