This number belongs to a Yellow Page service. I received a few calls from this number and my caller ID said "Not provided"

They have been calling daily for 2 weeks, despite that I am on the National Do Not Call List.  If my answering machine picks up, they hang up.  But if you call them back at the 800-361-8354 number they answer the phone as customer care.  If you ask what company the customer care is for, they claim it is Yellowpages.com.

These guys are NOT associated with Yellowpages.com at all, but are a separate company called YB.com and they attempt to look like Yellowpages.com.  They have offices in AZ and NV.  I do not know what their deal is, but I emailed them and said stop calling me and others who are on the National Do Not Call List.  They emailed back and asked for my phone number so they could remove me.  That is NOT how the Do Not Call list works.  They have to obtain the numbers from the list and make sure they do not call them.

If you are on the Do Not Call list and getting calls from them, make a Complaint at DoNotCall.gov.  If the Feds get enough complaints, they could hit them with enough fines to put them in a world of hurt.  It takes less than 5 minutes to make a Complaint on-line, so please file those Complaints.

This is from YP.com.  They say they are updating your information, you are not charged for this basic service. You go through a survey, and that's where you find out it's $39.95 a month, charged to your phone bill.  I argued with the woman I did not want this service, she kept saying it's an option, not an obligation.  I told her repeatedly I did not want this service so she hung up.  I called the 800 number provided and reported what was said.  They put me on their do not call list.

I also received this call several times, kowning it was a scam call, never picked up.

i got a phone call fron this number and if you do not agree at the end of the survey they continue talking to you about how it is free the first month until you are convinced to do it saying you can unscubscrice at any time and tell you that you already have it and they are just updating bussiness information then they give you a website and if you go to it (yt.com) it is in all chinese.

how do end it if you accidently say yes?

Called over 5 times today and no one ever leaves a message.  They've called every day for the last 3 months.

This YP.com called the Church of the Nazarene 9/4/07 and said they were updating information.  They put me through a survey.  I talked to 2 people and later they called back and had me talk to another person about the survey.  I told them I wasn't sure about this but they said they were going to send some information and it could be looked at and then decide.  They said if we took the service, it would be $39.95 a month. I kept telling them, I wasn't sure about this.

Thank you all- I just filed a complaint.  It really does only take a couple of minutes.  These calls have been almost daily all summer and I'm on the Do Not Call list.

They called and asked to speak to the owner. (Me) I told him that he was not available and to put us on his do not call back list. He asked, “why?”. I told him because I asked you politely to do so. This little geeky snot had the nerve to start b**ching at me! Next time I’ll call them from a blocked cell phone and treat them the same way!

I RECEIVED A CALL FROM THEM YESTERDAY AND TODAY. I ASK THEM IF I CONFIRMED THIS INFORMATION WOULD I BE CONFIRMING ALSO ANY RENEWAL AND THEY HUNG UP ON ME.  I CALL AGAIN AND THEY ANSWER AS CUSTOMER SERVICE, I ASK FOR OUR NUMBER TO BE REMOVE AND THE LADY WAS REALLY NICE, BUT I DON'T KNOW IF THIS IS GOING TO WORK.

They told me they were updating web information and had all the correct info on my business. I told them I was not interested but he kept insiting that it was free he was only updating his records.  Then going through the so called confirmation then they pop up and say about the $39.95 charge to my phone bill. I hung up and called back the 1-800 number and told them I did't want any part of this scam that they better not bill me for it. So I guess I'll have to call my phone company and let them know about it also. The telemarkerts are getting realy slick.

I reported this immediately to the telephone company and to the national DO NOT CALL REGISTRY, and suggest you do the same!!!  The telephone company suggested I also report it to the POLICE. You can register or file a complaint at: www.donotcall.gov  OR by phone (from the number you want to protect): 1-888-382-1222.

I have reported this to the government "Do Not Call" Complaint department and will continue to do so with every call I receive.

This company continues to call saying they are our local yellow pages representative. There are so may calls, usually TWO a day for the last three months or so. Most of the time they can barely speak English and sound like scum of the earth middle-Easterners. They never listen and do not stop calling by request.

Upon receiving CID identifying the number my new tactic will be to fill them with obscenities and desecrations of their Middle East faith. I have had enough!

They call our business 2-3 times a week. They always ask to validate company information for us to please hold to speak with their validation officer. Have hung up and said no thank you every time they have called. Filed a report today and will continue every time they call.

YP.com called today 1/4/08.  I asked the woman, "What is your "do not call" policy?"  She repeated, "This is YP.com."  I asked her to take me off of the call list and she asked me my number!  I told her, "You should have my number, I'm on the "Do Not Call Registry," and she hanged up immediately.  

I will file a complaint at the www.donotcall.gov Web site if the complaint page will load.  Perhaps YP.com will be fined if enough folks complain.  

P.S. The caller did not speak immediately when I answered (was not on the line), so it was auto dialed, eh?  I waited until she did speak b/c had I hanged up, my number would have been auto dialed later.  I received a hang-up earlier today; perhaps it was YP.com.

Does anyone want to start a "Do No Write" registry for direct marketing ads?  A hub for opting out of junk mail would be wonderful.

YP.com has been calling for the last couple of days, when I call them back they ask for my number, I filed two complaints with www.donotcall.gov so far and will continue to do so each time they call.
Hopefully everyone will so we can get some action

Received a call from this company and I'm listed with the "Do Not Call Registry," I just filed a complaint at www.donotcall.gov. Hope they get fined for not finding my number on the Do Not Call list.
