This phone number belongs to Wells Fago Bank 'recovery department'. There is no person that answers this number... if you call, you will have to leave a message requesting callback, although the likelyhood of that happening is SLIM.

I filed a Cp 7 in May 2011.  I had lost 3 jobs in a row, tried several times to negotiate with WF for a loan modification, they wouldn't have anything to do with it.  I finally gave up, told them they could have the house and as far as I knew everything was settled with the Cp 7.  Now more than a year later i'm getting multiple calls every day.  Very arrogant.  Informing me that I still owed on the 2nd (both the 1st and the 2nd were with WF), they tell me it wasn't cleared with the Cp 7, although it's on the paperwork and I have nothing to show that it didn't clear.  I have a phone call in to my attorney that handled this, but what if it didn't clear?  I live paycheck to paycheck, I lost everything, including my retirement, I'm living with my daughter because i can't afford a place of my own.  I'm over 60 and I've had excellent credit all my life until this happened.  Why would they come after me?  I have nothing to give anymore.

My story is almost the exact same as On The Edge, except I'm on disability.  WF told me I shouldn't have taken out a loan that I didn't plan on paying.  I politely told them that I didn't plan on getting so sick that I couldn't work and pay them.

We tried to surrender property. Nobody at WF knew how to do it. So talked one man at WF and he said let it play out. He said we would still get calls once a week or so, BUT not at 5:08 AM Saturday morning.  Wells Fargo is one of the worse banks to deal with. Nobody knows anything.
