Call insists it's urgent to call First Horizon. When I call the computer asks for my loan # or my SSN. I don't have a loan with them, but when I don't enter my SSN, it goes around and around repeatedly asking for my SSN. No option to talk to a live person. The computer's been going in circles for 5 minutes and no attempt to put me through to a live person.

I had the same thing happen to me.  If you choose the "enter your party's extension" option, it will let you press "0" to talk to an operator.  She will forward you to the appropriate person to "get your name off the list."  I have no idea if this will work as I just tried it, but at least I got to a real person.

I'm on the Do Not Call list and an automated voice called purporting to be First Horizon, insisting that I had a loan and that I had urgent business with them and that I would now be billed.  Good.

Let them send me a bill, then I will have a physical address to send my bill and expenses--with an intent to collect--and to give federal agencies an address to prosecute.

When you call they ask for your loan number or SSN.  DO NOT GIVE THAT OUT.  I believe this is a phishing scam so they can have your private information.  Banks will never ask for your Social Security Number to input into their system.  NEVER.  Never give your Social Security Number or Loan number to somebody you do not know.  This seems to be a scam for identity theft.

The more complaints that are filed the better off everyone will be as it raises more flags about this company and hopefully will lead to taking them down.

Received calls almost every other day, saying an  urgent message from first horizon. Does not indentify whom the call is for. There are also other  adults in this household. Finally called the number. When it asked for my SSN# I just hung up.

Got a call 5 min after I sent an email on a sat to my lender, who is also a good friend.  He would call me from his cell, but not on a Sat - this was from the 800 #.  I think somebody has hacked into email system. My cell phone is on my email signature.  They asked for my SS#.  It is a scam.

Kept getting calls from this company. I finally was off work and able to call them. When they said you could enter a five digit extension number I tried 1,2,3,4,5. Someone answered and I said I didn't know why they kept calling me. They said they would remove my phone number from their list in 24 hours. I think they were trying to get my social security number.

Got a call from this number today, they didn't leave a message, when I tried to call back I got an automated message saying that for $5.62 my call could be directed to an oversea's line and gave me a new # to dial.
I didn't try this new #, it sounded really fishy.

Received call from First Horizon, asking to call back 800-364-7662. I have an existing mortgage with First Horizon, but did not call back.

I just got this call saying that my loan was sold to another lender but it did not ask for my SSN.  This number is the customer relations number listed on their website, I checked there to see who i could call to verify this information.  Not sure if I should call it back or what... I have to send payment to somebody this month!

My phone has rung repeatedly. I'd say every 20 to 30 minutes with the same # coming up on the caller ID 1-800-364-7662. I have let it go to the answering machine & I get no message from the caller they just hang up.

This number called me 2x, tried to call back, again asking for loan number or ss# and otherwise no other way to reach a person. Googled First Horizon and they knew of no such thing.  They gave me a number to security and fraud dept at the real First Horizon 901-523-5336- Dont't give you social or any information, this is a scam.  I had never heard of them prior nor had a loan of any type.

I've called this #, it IS horizon. just google the #, its on their contsact us. Without telling him my info, he told me what address my mortage is with them. It was about a late check getting to thrmew in this instance, which was true.

It's good to be paranoid, but not this time, it's legit.

I had the call and spent the 15 minutes getting through to them to have them remind me that my loan was due the first of the month...it was the 6th of the month.  First Horizon is owned by First Tennessee. I do use the float and electronically pay within the grace period every time. "Very important" to me would mean being taken over by the FDIC...but they probably would take the time to call about that.

I get this call every other day (still says First Horizon, though they are now owned by and renamed to MetLife).

Called after reading some of these posts and it did indeed ask for my Loan# or SSN. I do have a loan from FH/MetLife, they didn't know anything about these calls or my message.

I received a note to call "important" at my door late in the morning. The man delivering tried to open the front door then went to my garage door and tried to open it!!  My dogs were barking like crazy and he lingered at the front talking on a cell phone.  I called my neighbor and asked her to watch from her window as I opened the door and asked him why he was trying to break into my home (don't try this if you're alone).  He said he thought "it was empty", so you break into vacant homes I asked.  I told him we were alarmed and armed in this neighborhood and that he was being watched as we speak.  I called this number planning to complain to someone but recieved the same recycling message to either enter a loan number or 9 digit SS#.  I don't know to many who will give out their full SS#'s and especially to a message machine.  I'm reporting this as well.

Got a message saying it was First Horizon needing my loan number and ssn#. Would never give out that number. Tried to call back and no one ever answered. Seems very sketchy.

Automated message saying we need to call this number. When the number is called it asks for loan# or ssn#. I didn't give this info and tried for 10 minutes to get a person. No luck. I don't bank with them and all my loans are through my small town bank. I think this is a scam/phishing and want my name off the call list seeing as how I'm on the No Call List.
