It's a common 800 number scam directed at the customers of large-scale financial institutions.  Period.  And I suspect you're part of it.  If you call that number you get someone who does not want to answer simple questions about the group she works for.  Lady I talked to simply stuttered when I asked her questions about this "HUntington" group.  Obvious fishing scam.

You are fooling no one with this nonsense.

The message sounded suspicious to me-like it was in a boiler room with people speaking on phone banks.  I didn't call back, based on the majority of experiences posted by other people.

Just checked the 800 number for Huntington Bank.  It's a scam; anyone saying otherwise is lying.

Person called me from this number informing me that I was late for a $34.?? payment and was already late.  I told them that I didn't pay the bill and didn't plan to pay it.  I  told them that I just didn't have a good reason for nonpayment; I just didn't want to pay my bills.  I don't like to pay what I owe.  They would have to take legal action against me and wished them good luck in their quest.  They realized that I knew they were Nigerian scammers and hung up on me.

Call came in 8:01am on a Sunday!!!!!!!!!!! Answered phone because is one of my banks. Robot said “hello, welcome to Huntington Bank”,and proceeded to list their hours of operation, then disconnected. Called Huntington Banks, Columbus, Ohio world headquarters number. They said this is a spoofed number, having no business with Huntington Banks, they get complaints about this number all the time, and they traced it back to a Huntington Bank in Hawaii !!!!!!!!!! I called the number back 10 times, different days, different times of day- same results! Scam scam scam - spoofed number!!!!  Don’t give out any info to this number!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just received a call from this number, didn't recognize it so I didn't answer. They left a message that simply said "This is Huntington Bank, please call 1-800-372-7725 regarding your account."

I Googled the number first and it shows up a lot as a scam number or spoofed number. But if you go to the official Huntington Bank website, it is listed on their site under the Credit Card Services Contact section.

I called the number back thinking it was legitimate, and the person who answered said their name was John with Huntington Bank Card Services, but he kept asking for a lot of information (name, address, phone number, last 4 of social) including the full credit card number and you'd think a bank that issued you the card would already have that information and would not need you to confirm the full number. Normally its just the last 4 digits of the account as they can pull it up by name. But the person I talked to could not tell me why or who called me from this number and because I was refusing to give them my full card number they couldn't look at my account info. I will go the the local branch office tomorrow and talk with them about this. The entire call felt like a phishing scam, but the number is listed on Huntington's website.

They called asking for my wife saying there was an issue with her credit card but would only talk to her even though I have access to all her accounts. When I called it back they answered "Thanks for calling Huntington, but wanted all of my info and not my wifes.

Huntington called me and left no message.  This is strange, because me and all others of my family don't have anything to do with Huntington.  Why call and leave no message?

This number called wanted me to call back at 8003737725, claimed they were Hunington.  Called the branch and they stated it was a scammer.

Person called claiming they were from Huntington Bank  and asked me to call back. When I did the asked for my phone number to look up the issue. Then said that there was no info on that number and that they could look it up if I gave them my account number. I refused and hung up

They left a voicemail on my cellphone, said it was Huntington Bank, following-up to an email that looked official, but contained a different call back immediately number that I later identified as a scam number.  The voicemail left this number I'm reporting now - they called me - 1st thing they wanted was a lot of my personal info "to identify me" - lady on other end did not sound very professional - now I've found this phone # is a scam too - don't give them any info about you!
