Number on cellphone was: +442082077200. (Unknown caller). Since it appeared to be from overseas I did not answer and was left a voicemail message to call: 800-373-5527. Could not find any info on the +44 number.

Found out this is a "company" called Sigma Solutions. It's a loan company. I just did a *67 to call the 1-800-373-5527 number back that was left on my voicemail. These people have called me 2-3 times a day and all they leave is an 8 second vcml saying my name and this is about my application. Thats all. I haven't applied for any loans and they call using an unknown or private number. No legitimate business does that. And all legitimate businesses leave their company name and a contact person to ask for or department to ask for. I used go work for a consumer protection attorney and these people don't want to start anything with me. Annoying.

So I was trying to apply for an online loan. Told me to call this number and immediately they asked me for my social security number to pull up my acct. I told her but I only put the last 4 online so ehy do you need that. Some lady said their system have my full social and that's how they pull up my accts. I asked her how do they have it if I never gave it to them and she couldn't tell me said if I didn't give it to her she had to disconnect the line.

They just called me looking for a family member knew my name said he listed my number as a contact number but when I told him about it he didnt have a clue who they where or why they where calling. I googled the call back number with the sigma name and found all these comments. I want to kniw how they had my number and knew my name yet they never once tried to call my family members phone!!!!! Sounds extremely fishy and its quite unnerving and scary too!!!!! Also the number they called from showed up as a privet number. Which I only answered since I know sometimes hospital numbers can show up as privet and I am expecting a hospital phone call by end of this week.

Received a call that caller id identified as 'Unknown name' and 'Private number'.  I never answer calls from numbers I don't know and I certainly wouldn't answer this.  They left a voicemail, as follows:

"Hello this is a voicemail for John xxxxxx. I'm calling you from a company called Sigma Solutions regarding your online loan application. Please give us a call back on 1-800-373-5527 and press option one. Thank you."

I have never applied for an online loan in my life.  Clearly a scam.

It appears that they have earned a coveted "F" rating from the BBB with 30 complaints.  This is an advance fee loan scam, illegal in every state.

I was foolish and desperate enjoy to fall for this scam.  I recently changed my bank account number and called to give the new information  and for three weeks in DEcember the 1st, the 8th and the 15th was successfully taken from the new account but they had the balls to call me on December 19th saying that they need new account information because my payment was returned.  Funny because I have proof that the payment was taken all three weeks..  We should boycott all online loan services

It looks like the scam has evolved over the last three years.  Now they text. I received a text from 401-267-2761: "In reference to your recent application with Sigma Solutions, our team have been trying to contact you but unfortunately have been unable to reach you, if you are still interested please call our dedicated team on 18003735527"
