I graduated 45 years ago and paid off my loans 35 years ago. So I’m pretty sure this is a scam!

Called about my student loans I recently
Qualified for. I graduated 30+ years ago and never applied for loans.

I haven’t even gone to college yet and got this call

A scam. A robocall about student loan forgiveness. When I called them back, a man name "Richard" answered and when I asked for the name of the company who keeps calling me, he promptly disconnected.  Do NOT give them any personal information.  It is a scam.

Called me about my student loans and when l called them back and told them l have no student loans because I never went to college she hung up on me , it's a scam !!!

Received a call from 800-378-7441 advising that if I have a student loan it can be forgiven needless to say I did have student loans about 10 years ago and then became permanently disabled and I was at that time granted a full pardon on paying them back so I don't know where my number is getting from most likely from the Department of Education when they answered the phone they asked if I'd be interested told him that I had been granted a pardon on the loans and the person just hung up on me and said oh it was a mistake I think we all need to contact the Department of Education for those of us that did have loans that were previously pardon and let them know that this number is now calling people that did it one time have loans

Scam. I too have no student loans and never have.

I HAD to laugh... I paid off my student loans nearly 40 years ago.

I got this call in the afternoon a day ago (7/27) the guy said his name was Thomas Dyer and he was calling to tell me about some recent changes to federal loans and that I should call him back and reference #4683.  When I call he would then tell me about the changes to my loan.

Exact same scenario for me.
