800-378-7626

A call came in from  800-378-7626  UNKNOWN, with message claiming to have come from Esurance.  Esurance does not have this number listed as their number.  [Upon researching, Esurance's real listed number is 800-378-7262--NOT 7626.]  The message asked for a return call to 877-877-7024 -- again per research, a number NOT listed for Esurance--however on one caller-complaint site one person wrote that this is an Esurance claim number. This could not be verified. No one at our number has Esurance as an insurance.  Does anyone know who owns these numbers?   Thank you.

Symantec recently reported that someone hijacked an Esurance million dollar Twitter contest that offered a lot of money, which was legitimate, but the scammers tried to profit off of it. In addition Symantec reported a few other accounts that had made slight changes in the Esurance name or other particulars to fool the Twitter followers.
