according to the texas state attorney generals office, the  federal burea of investigation,and numerous  law firms this is a bogus company who call themselves E & M associates, collections who attempt to  harrass people or intimidate,or coerese people into revealing their social security numbers so that they can empty their bank assounts.  They are scammers and crooks.  They are not listed with the better business bureau, or the national association of  collection agencies..They have no listed physical address anywhere but, perportedly operate out of Ney York.  They make all kinds of threats to   intimidate people into beliveing that they are being sued and that legal  papers are forth coming and they are going to serve you with legal papers to take you to coure.BEWARE of these [***].

Only if the  situation is of a criminal nature can that be done, in civil matters this is not true unless, a crime has been committed. SO BEWARE of these crooks.

Supposedly a process server at 304-205-0244 Reston, WV called to say he was calling on behalf of E&M Associates, who were going to serve me with legal papers.I was to call by 5pm today, because of urgency of matter, and to call 800-380-9429 and gave a case file number which he provided me with.

This morning my sister-in-law received a call from E&M Associates, who gave a case number and a telephone number for my daughter-in-law to call immediately or she would be served with papers.  I checked all of this out and read all the messages supplied on this site to find out this is bogus and a scam.  Beware people the phone number is 800-380-9329 this is nothing but a prank for information.

I am getting these calls also! Where do I go to check these out and put in a complaint...any help would be appreciated...same thing phone number 1-800-380-9329 and case number

These people called my mom this morning asking if someone would be home on Monday so that they could drop off legal papers for me.  Of course they called for me asking by my maiden name, which I haven't had in almost 8 years.  After questioning them some she asked what the documents were.  The woman said how would she know, they were legal papers and she couldn't open them. Wouldn't they know what kind of legal papers they were trying to serve me with??  Anyway she told them I don't live there so don't bother showing up.  They gave 800-380-9329 & a case number for me to call.

E & M company is under the gun and being investigated by the FBI for fraud and criminal practices. Do not return any phone call or contact them.

I just received a call from 1-623-207-9704 telling me someone would be by to serve a summon.  The female gave a summons number and case number.  She told me to contact 1-800-380-9329 E & M Associates and they would need the last 4 digits of his social security number to verfiy if he was the person they were looking for.  Red flags went up so I check the internet and found the other info posted.

When they call (Per FBI) Try to get their address and the persons frist and last name with who you speak with. Then try to get as much information about their company that you can then Call your local FBI office or Your local Attorney Generals Office in your area when they call you.
Do not give them any of your personal information. PHONE Numbers Associated with them 623-207-9704 and 800-380-9329.

Actually, the call came in from 623-207-9704 to my elderly parents' home and calling for me. Much like the others listed here the caller would not give any identifying information about themselves. Left a message instructing me to call the toll free number 800-380-9329. Gave a "case number" and a warning that I was about to be served process papers for a civil suit, I assume. Regardless it's a bogus pretense because I have no debt and  no debt that I can be sued over. Anyway, to all who may read this file a complaint against this company at https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/. It's the Federal Trade Commission complaint service. They are very good about going after derelict outfits like this.

They called me yesterday on my cell from 623-207-9704 and ask for my Brother by correct Name asked me to give him a message to him it is urgent he needs to call between 9-4 at 800-380-9329 and gave me case number as well.  Look out for these people.

A woman left a message message on my answering machine stating that she was calling from Levine, Cohen & Associates to inquire about the legal papers that I was supposed to return but didn't. She left some sort of case number and that I must call immediately. I have been receiving call, now for about three months, saying that they were a process server and had legal papers for me. At least one call came from 623-207-9704. Another from area code 304. Last time they called I told them where to stick the papers. I'm still waiting for those papers. However, there is a Levine, Cohen & Associates which is a "debt recovery" collection agency. I think they are registered in Reston,WV. They are also incorporated in Florida at 5734 Old Cheney Hwy., Orlando, FL 32807. I don't believe the practices they are using are legal so it is time to file an FTC complaint. I don't owe anybody any money so it is probably something I didn't pay over 10 years ago. This firm buys junk debts.

I received phone messages from 800-380-9329 for a friend of mine who never even knew my house number.  Left a message stating it was an urgent matter.  I told her about it, but also told her that it was more than likely a scam trying to get your money. It was ironic that they call my number because her and I do not talk on a regular basis.  Do not give up any information.  You will regret it later.

I recorded a conversation with the E&M Associates about 6 months ago. They try to scare you into making a settlement by saying, illegally, that they are pursuing legal action against you.  Once the rep realized that we were both being recorded, they were no longer willing to talk on the phone.

They are scammers, and prey on the ill informed.

this number has called my home cell and in laws not saying what they want

Called 3 times in a row.  Message on third try, a man who barely spoke english rattled off some nonsense (no actual name of who he looking for) about a credit card bill and to call immediately. This was the number he gave to call back. The number he called in on was 631-983-3284. We owe nothing so scamarama!!
