Who is using this toll-free number?

don't know it started calling me a few days ago and now calls me a few times a day

this is jc penney rewards mastercard

they start calling at 8 a.m. and don't stop till approx. 11 p.m.

i"m sure its jc penny . its amazing how you answer there internet payment dates and they still call every hour.

My bill has been paid so I do not know why they are calling me. I never answer 800 numbers, but they don't leave a message either.

I paid off and cancelled my card a year ago. No idea why they want to talk to me. I'm afraid if I call them back they'll start calling more often.

This is a total scam.  I just received a text message from "79622" stating "FreeMsg: Synchrony Bank. Your JCPenney MasterCard acct is past due.  This is to collect a debt, info will be used for that purpose.  Call 8003887193 or go to jcpenneymastercard.com.  To Opt out reply STOP."  First of all, JCP will never call you, much less send you a text containing bad grammar and abbreviations.  They will simply send you a bill with your current balance plus any amount that's past due.The real JCPenney MasterCard customer service number for the U.S. is (866) 227-5213.  DON'T FALL FOR THIS!

This is a scam number claiming to be Synchrony Bank for JCPenney credit services! Do not call back or provide any additional information especially NOT SS numbers which is what the automated service tried asking of me! When I contacted the correct customer service number, they confirmed that this phone number is NOT affiliated with Synchrony or JCP!!!

Prime is suppose to be given to me free automatically. Part of my account with P.C Metro.

Yet other posters state the caller claims to be with JCPENNEY so perhaps the number is being spoofed?

Some one claiming to be Synchrony  bank it never alive person.it was this company it be alive person.they never a message .it is always a record ed message .they will leave a message wanting you to call them which a giveaway of ascam

It's still being used for scamming in 2022.
