- Annoyed| 3 repliesThese guys call twice a day, everyday, for the past past few days. They leave a
voice mail saying they have an important business matter to discuss. It's getting
really annoying. Anyone figured out who these guys are? The caller ID shows up nothing, but they say what their 1-800 number is in the voice mail.- Call type: Unwanted
- Beware of Scam Artists replies to Annoyed| 1 replyI called this 1-800 number from a pay phone. The automated answering system asked for my phone number, but I didn't want to enter that into a potential spam trap, so I entered a random number. The system then complained that they cannot find my number and asked for my social security number: yes, my **ing SSN! Of course I ignored it and pressed the # key etc., to finally get connected to a real person. Up front, I asked my phone number to be put on their do not call list. Immediately the women got hostile and asked what my name was etc. I said I don't want to reveal my name, and asked them repeatedly to put my number on their do not call list. She kept asking my name so I asked her name and her company name, but she refused to give me the company name. She revealed her name at the end but I have no confidence that it is her real name. In any case, I was successful in annoying her. Ha!
- Annoyed replies to Beware of Scam ArtistsThese guys have two numbers. The other one is 8002613766, and the message is basically the same with the same voice, same message, except for the 800 number and the name of the person.
- Giuseppe replies to AnnoyedThese numbers belong to a credit collection agency...
- ErikI have been getting the same thing. I actually had my number unlisted due
to the 3 to 5 calls a day but still they called. I finally spoke to a person and found that they were actually looking for my neighbor (who skipped town with much debt). The person who answered said that my number would go off the list. She rudely hung up on me while I was still asking her a question.
Obviously these people think everyone is a deadbeat even if they have the
wrong person. I wish I could sue for some kind of harassment.- Call type: Debt collector
- Mark A. EbyI have received calls from 1-800-390-1735 for the past twenty days, primarily on saturdays, but during the week also and always "unknown" id. This is becoming old real quick and I have no intentions of contacting this unknown pest...
- tbachdrums2Many harassing phone calls with same voice message each time: "Hello this is "name changes" I have an important business matter to discuss with you please call. and the call back number has been 3 different numbers 800-390-1735, 800-261-3162 and 800-925-6137. The voice sounds the same but uses different names, Mike Walls, Tom Brain and Bob Thompson. They never ask to speak to a person by name.
- longhornchick| 1 replyI've been receiving their message for a couple of weeks now, but I couldn't stop the calls because they were hanging up when the privacy manager picked up. Due to all the helpful information from this blog, I was able to do some reseach. This is a collection agency. Their name is National Enterpize Systems, which explains why they are so rude. There are laws about harassment from collection agencies. I'm getting ready to take matters in my own hand......hopefully you will too! Thanks for the helpful information!

- jay replies to longhornchickwe rec'd a call from 555-555-0130. It stated to contact 800-390-1735. There is no Co. info that is posted on the net for these two #'s. Most likely a scam.
