Rex Roberts left me a VM "Im calling from City Lending we sent you some paperwork in the mail its in regards to your auto loan I want to make sure you got it, um please give me a shout back" - I don't have no business with City Lending, my car is paid off.

This exact message verbatim was left in my VM  on 01-17-18.  I never answer 800 numbers I don't recognize.  First thought it was Citi, because I've had a Citi, (Citibank), credit card for 23 years. Was immediately  suspicious because I haven't applied for any type of loan with anyone. Did a search on the phone number. Found  it linked to CITY LENDING, Newport, CA.
Been in Business for 3 years. I will, and anyone else getting this call & message should check your credit report.

Received a similar message but explained he wanted to refinance and get us a better rate.

JR calls me a few times a week and leaves the same message as previous comments. It's a scam.

They call me too. They leave a message in my phone  if I want to refinance my student loan. They can help me but I think this is fake.

I got a text message from this number .  Message said it was Lendward and he had great news for me 0 to please call.  I don't think so!!!
