    Did you call them. Is this a scam number? I got a letter saying they are from Client settlement dept and asked to call at this number 800-391-5499.
    It sounds like scam to me.

    I received the same letter saying it was from my county offering a debt settlement. I'm sure it's a scam.

    If they claim to be from your county, give your county office a call.  Let them know about the scam calls.

    This is a scam. I have no such debt on my credit report. Their letter had a phone number with no company name or returned envelope. It does not say the original source of the debt either. Do not call them.
