My voice mail tells callers  unless they leave a message I will NOT return any calls

claims I am a good Con Ed customer and I am eligible for some sort of benefit then asks "is this your phone number" I know better than to say yes as the recording of my response may lead to an approval of a scam

Or not, since there has not been one single verifiable, reliable account of anyone actually getting scammed by saying that word.  You should however acquaint yourself with some of the numerous other scams that are going on where people have actually lost thousands and collectively millions of dollars.

Received call from someone claiming they were calling from the supply department of com ed.  I immediately asked them if they work for Com Ed, and instead of answering the question, they hung up.
