They have been calling my fax machine at least 4 or 5 times a day for the last month.  I put the number on the Do Not Call Registry.  It is impossible to get through to them without a loan number.  I do not have any loans or mortages with them!

Even went on-line to track them down.  There is no way to directly communicate with them, without perhaps stopping by.  Address listed in Miami FL.

Going to see if I can issue a complaint to the FCC.

They called me and I got a recording saying that all of their operators are busy and to stay on the line for an important call.  Wonderful... they send me an automated call and tell me to hold.

I knoew exactly how you feel about the calls, I do have a mortgage loan with them and whenever I'm late or missed a payment they call like 4 times a day.
How it was explained to me is that, whenever the account is past due or in default, the calls are automaticaly generated by their computer, to call the phone number that is on the account's profile.
That is why when you answer, it say's "PLEASE HOLD, A REPRESENTATIVE WILL BE WITH YOU SHORTLY", so that's how its works as to why they call so much.

I've been getting call after call from these people and it is waking up my daughter who is sick.  Then if I pick up there is no one there, so it is probably a computer dialing -

It's HSBC Mortgage. Never had an account with them, but they call multiple times, even on Sunday!  Jerks.

I called their Executive Offices at 1-877-472-2005, and sent an e-mail to the executive office at hbus.executive.office@us.hsbc.com

Call them!  E-mail them!  Harass those big-wig executives the same way they make their little minions harass YOU!  Please use the info above to voice your complaints to them.

When I answered this call I spoke to a woman who barely spoke english she had my name right but she kept trying to get personal information like my address and account number I refused then she tried to get me to make a payment to her with a post dated check over the phone I refused the funny part is my loan payment was 16 days from being due and I could hear children in the background it seems like a scam.

I have a 15 grace period on my mortgage so it's due by the 16th. On the 11th they start calling every hour or so, never leave a message. BTW I have never had a late fee on my account in the 9 years I've been with them. This isn't some high interest loan, I have stellar credit and a preferred rate. When the payment is made, they call to tell me it's been received! DUH! I just click the phone on and off again. Let them pay for the call.

We have the same grace period and unfortunately start getting the same phone calls starting on the 11th!  Why aren't they calling me on the 30th or 31st of each month about my first of the month payment? It's the same thing, whether we make the payment at the beginning of the month or in the middle, it is not late.  What if everyone decided to pay in the middle of the month instead of the beginning, they would have a lot of calls to make! We just turn the ringer off the phone in the bedroom and prepare ourselves for the battery of calls and make our payments on time.  If everyone that had a loan with HSBC wrote a letter threatening to refinance with a different company they might listen, but maybe not.  My thought was that next time we choose to pay in the middle of the month, that we call ahead and tell them that this month we will be making the payment by the 15th so do not call about a payment?  I really don't have an answer.  I guess I have comfort in the fact that we are not doing anything wrong and we just deal with it for a few days.

    Another NY Homeowner
Received a call at 8:40 PM on 9/10/09 from this number.  No message was left.  Saw this on the caller ID and called it back after work on 9/11/09.  When I called the number, David Smith was advising that the call was being recorded.  Gave him my loan number, couldn't find our loan and when he looked it up by social, told me to call 800-338-4626.  Called that number and got transferred to a guy in India who told me that they show NO record of any calls being made on our account at all, then later says that the last time a call was placed to our home was on 9/9/09 from their collections department.  This supposed call from 9/9/09 is not on our caller ID, we have a grace period to be able to pay with no late fee as long as we pay by close of business on the 16th.  Our September 2009 payment was made in full in cash at the branch on 9/10/09 - why the calls at 8:40 at night from their collections department when the payment was made and we were still well within the grace period?!?!?

They keep calling the house and don't leave a message.  Then they call at work and you have to wait for them to get on the phone after you pickup.
