We have DirecTV. Too damned expensive, but she watches it, so we tolerate the overpriced service. If it was up to me, I would simply have broadcast television, internet and perhaps Roku or Netflix.

They offered me a premium package for free for six months.  I told them that was weird since I don't watch those channels.  Then they asked what channels I do watch on DirectTV.  I told him ESPN and he then thanked me for my time and hung up : )

Just received a call from this no. I didn’t pick it up and let it go to VM. I too have dropped some services w/DTV. Perhaps this is it.

Received a call from this number telling me that I could get a premium package with DirectTV if I paid 6 months up front - totaling approximately $326.00. Also asked what I pay monthly and had my home address. Said that if I paid this I wouldn't have a bill for 6 months. When I told them no they slammed the phone down.
