800 403-2045 purports the be a "Microsoft Service Center" calling you to let you know they've been receiving "warning reports" that require them to access your computer to fix the problem or your computer will be irreversibly damaged.

John Morrison called to say that "Windows" Service Center" was getting warning reports from my computer that my license had expired.

Ignore and block the calls.  Garden variety Indian or Pakistani tech scammer.

Called numerous times saying there were numerous malicious viruses on my computer. Wanted access to my computer. Was transferred to 5-plus technicians. After they wanted me to access 3 different websites giving permission, I hung up.
