800-403-6350 Venmo scam claimed I sent money via Venmo when you call it back it is a very poor synthetic voice that says Venmo support. Hang up immediately and don't give them anything except the number to your local Police!

Received text message from 800 508-6350. Claimed that I sent money to Joseph Brown. Asked me to call 800 403-6350. There were misspellings in the message.

Yes, I received the same text message that I sent money to Joseph Brown.  It looks like a scam so I will not call back.

Same thing happened to me. I got a message the day before saying someone had tried to change my password. So when I got a message today saying I sent money to Joseph Brown and to call this number immediately I did. Something seemed off right away and went in and looked at my venmo. Not sure why I didn't do this first. I told them I was deactivating my account and he started saying no don't do that. So I hung up.

Just received this text message VENMO: 250$ WAS SENT TO JOSEPH BROWN, IF YOU DID NOT AUTHORIZE THIS PAYMENT, CALL US IMMEDIATELY 800.403.6350
yesterday got an email from Venmo saying someone was trying to log on to my account .
