- odonata28| 2 repliesI just tried to text STOP and haven't yet recieved a phone call back. I think the connection might be the quizes on Facebook. I started getting texts pretty much the same day I got started on Facebook. Anyone else notice this?

- blondenbusy566| 1 replyI called to cancel whatever this service is today. After 25 minutes of waiting on hold I was told to leave a message, which I did. How do we get rid of this kind of scam???
- Caller: Not Sure
- Suziesez2I keep getting "Word of the Day" too.
- Suziesez2| 2 repliesYOU KNOW WHAT IS WAS? We were all DUMB enough to take that IQ test on the internet (I don't even remember how I got to it) and then put our cell phone #'s in to get our results! To top it off, when I got my results....the score they gave me basically said I was STUPID!
Oh well, you live and learn. - Suziesez2| 2 repliesI replied to the text message with... STOP in all caps and recieved a text back saying I was Un-subscribed...within seconds. We'll see. Now I have to check my provider to see if I've been charged for doing that!
- MISS_SophieI replied to txt the word "STOP" in caps. Got a message about 2 or 3 minutes later saying « at your request we will no longer send you messages in connection with this service ».
We'll see...
I've been receiving these for the past months!! I have a call card and don't know how much money I spent though... I used to receive them once a week from 3-3444 but I got annoyed by them every day same time (2h10pm) for the past weeks. Telus couldn't do sh%t about it. search the internet. could find anything until I got a txt with a 800 number.
can't wait to see if the "stop" txt worked...- Caller: Telus
- plpl27| 1 replyMy girlfriend got spam from 33444 too.
She didn't subscribe to anything because she got the first message just after buying the phone. (FIDO - prepaid)
Then she got messages all day and each message cost over 1£ each.
She wrote STOP in caps to 33444 and she received a message confirming that said:
At your request we will no longer send you messages in connection with this service.
Let's hope the messages will stop.- Call type: Valid
- Bleh| 1 replyThis website sends out flirt messages to cell phones. From my understanding they charge $5.00 per week to your cell phone. Somehow my 12 year old daughter ended up getting the messages and when she got her first one she showed me. We messaged back "stop" every time a message came in and we would always get an email reply saying the messages would stop, but they didn't.
I finally got through to their phone number and the guy says messaging back stop does not remove you from the list, you have to call to be removed. I told them that the next "flirt" message sent to my 12 year old daughter would be replied to by my attorney. - jc| 1 replyWord of the day....texted them pack to unsubscribe and I was charged 9.99! still get texts from them too!
