Caller ID "Unavailable", I refused to answer, no message was left.

# belongs to Citicorp.  This is a debt collector.

Do not give personal information to this number.  It is an attempt to get your personal information such as social security number to commit fraud.  If they claim to be a debtor contact that debtor at a separate number to verify.  The person who called me claimed to be Macy's.

I answered and they tried to get my social security number.  This looks like an ID theft scheme

They keep calling me but I never pick up because I know it is a "phishing" scheme.

got a call around 9:15 at night and was told that they were Citi Bank and that they were collecting for Macys and that I owed them 87.00 and they wanted to collect it. I asked her if she realised what time it was and she responded by asking me what my problem was and proceeded to hang up on me. Nice to see we have such good bill collectors these days

It would make sense that it's Macy's, since I've been having problems with them. I didn't pick up since I didn't know who was calling, the woman that called forgot to hang up and left a 10 minute message during which she discussed her daughter's schoolwork and plans for the future. These people are obviously not the brightest bunch...
