Have you ever had Bank of America?

I received checks from bofa today. Do anyone know if this is legit...

These checks have come up on this forum before. There are several other forums all with the same questions.  The best thing to do is, of course, go to the local BOA branch and find out but it does appear that they are legit.  Here is a story WDAY did on the topic.

I received a large check and called told me it's the real deal.  I'm cashing it tomorrow.

Just wonder I did received one check form the same place all you guys did BOA I was I the service for 20 years just retired back 2007 I received a check for nearly $4,000 looks so scary to go and cashed it has the same 1-800-417-# where are this checks are coming from?

Are you guys veterans also or any boa costumer may get one

They are real cashed mine today no problem.  Only military members are getting them because we were mischarged while deployed and the law caught up with Bank of America.  I called a different Bank of America number and the lady stated she's gotten calls all day from service members.  She told me merry Christmas :).  One guy receive 41k she told me as well.  Crazy.

Just deployed military members where Bank of America didn't follow the soldier and sailor relief act.  Sorry.

If you were deployed they charged you the wrong rate and its part of a settlement from my understanding.

They are legit. We received ours last week for over 14k and cashed it with no problem. Just when we were wondering how we were going to pay for my Moms funeral.
