Unwanted unsolicited cold call

they guy would not give me his name, he couldn't even tell me what the dentist name is that tried to file a claim!!!

called my insurance agency at work and the lady couldn't answer who they were, and wouldnt provide me with a callback number. they asked me for our fax number and wouldnt tell me what it was for. I ended the call.

One guy pretend to my health insurance agent and tried to get my personal info.  BE CAREFFUL THIS NUMBER!

Said they were with Fidelis and asked for my user id #. I told him I would not give that info. over the phone to someone I don't know. He said ok will send reason for call in mail. I said ok and hung up. I called my carrier (Fidelis) and they checked with dental quest and said they did try to give me a message that I was approved for some requested dental work. But they never called me before to say I was approved or not for anything, so I found it strange. I always just got a notice saying "Approved" or "disapproved" for whatever procedure was requested by my dentist. I will  continue not to give out any personal info. on the phone anyway. I have email that is just as fast as dialing a phone and I can "see" who is sending/requesting information. They could of only asked me for the last 4 digits or so and I may have dealt with them then. Or even ask me to call their company/office myself or something like that. Not professional to cold call and not have a proper introduction at the very least.

Today I got call said:
I am contacting from dental office
What kind of insurance you have

Llamaron 2 veces y no contesté la llamada porque me estuvo extraño a la hora que entró la llamada en la noche, lo cual no contesté.

just got a call from this number, and they said they were from Fidelis asked to confirm my address and apt number, plus my bday. She couldn’t tell me her name , or from what dentist doctor she is Calling from.
Def a scam!

They called me as fideliscare provider. Asked to confirm my address and date of birth.
Made a story that my dentist ask for the proofs of some procedures .
Not true! Scam!!!

Called several times during the evening without leaving a voicemail. I didn't answer since I didn't recognize the 800-417-7140 number. Google search said DentaQuest, but could be a spoofing number (faked caller ID). If it's important, they would have left a voicemail. Insurance companies always send written letters (snail mail) to their customers, not call out of the blue. Thus, very suspicious call, especially for after business hours (evening and night time).

Was called and they claimed to be from DentaQuest, no information regarding why the call was placed, the call cut out, potentially on purpose to encourage me to call back and question what it is about.
