Received a call like this today with a message on my answering machine.  This must be part of a wave of unsolicited calls that are not obvious telemarketing.  I can assure anyone that if a minister of G-d has something to say, then s/he will identify themselves and the ministry name up front.  Spreading fear and lies about mental health isn't exactly kind, loving, or sane now, is it?

As other people said, this is a call that claims that groups like AA or counseling is anti-biblical. This isn't true of course, and I hate to think of how many people are going to feel that much worse after hearing this message! Maybe it's an indirect hit at Rick Warren?

This person in message who makes claim that seeking professional help is against Bible principles, doesn't remember the saying that God helps those who help themselves, and contribute towards helping others...  Just having Bible faith alone does not change a behaviorial pattern for everyone.  Some it does.  Maybe everyone should not seek medical help for physical illness, just believe in health. Ya, right. Let's not forget that the health of body and emotional health are closely connected and at times need effective human treatment in addition to spirituality.  That may be through an AA group, a psychologist/psychiatrist, and a minister/clergyman, to help change behavior and/or find strength through a negative self-destructive period or negative outside influence.  Mental, emotional and spiritual balance is not against Bible principles, nor is getting professional help.  Biblical Luke was a professional doctor and a follower of Jesus.
