I answered, pressed one and told them to take me off your list and never call me again. The guy on the line said “No”, and I responded “Yes, it is against the law for you people to keep calling my phone after I ask to be removed.”
“He responded rudely, no baby it’s not against the law.”
Don’t answer their calls, just save yourself a headache and block them.

Asked if this was Stephen Godfrey Salon, asked if address is the same, asked if we still have 5 employees, we have never had five employees, asked if the owner was still Stephen Godfrey. Then hung up. I’m worried.

It's a damn pity businesses have to answer all incoming calls... especially since 50-90% of these are robocallers and/or scams.  The rest of us should NEVER answer an unknown calling number.  If it's important, they'll leave a worthwhile voicemail.  If we ignore and never call back these numbers, they'll dry up and die.  And NEVER NEVER "hit 1 to be removed", which is only a confirmation you are a live phone # that will now be added to every robocaller list on Earth.

Caller ID stated: 07/05/18, 2:21 PM, AT&T Universal, 800-423-4343. Picked up the phone and a robo voice said that they have made several attempts to contact me about my balance on my credit card to press 1 to speak to a customer service about my pass due balance. I don't maintain a balance on any credit cards - I hung up.

October 3, 2018, 12:13 PM - familiar female credit card robocall from 800-423-4343, AT&T Universal MD to my number on the national DNC list.

This call came in at the exact moment I had just clicked on a screen button to have a bank send me a code to log on to my account. This caused my bank's message to go to voicemail, requiring me to repeat the process after this robocall. It was a familiar female voice robocall message, which I have received many times before today:

"This is an important message about your current credit card account. We have made several attempts to reach you. This is your final courtesy call before we are unable to lower your credit card interest rate. Press 1 to speak to the member services department, or press 2, and your eligibility to lower your rate will expire".

I pressed 1, and got an Indian guy who answered as Card Services. I told him that they called at the wrong time and said "Please do not call again" and repeated this.
