You are supposed to be able to cancel faxes by calling this number and entering the document number for a particular fax or for all faxes and your fax number to cancel future faxes.  The faxes advertise all kinds of companies.  So far I've been cancelling my fax number but they keep on coming! Arrrgh!!

They are scamming to gather information.  By replying, you are verifying that your fax line exists.  For a fax to be legal, it must have the Fax Number Listed at the top of the page, or a Legal Company Name.  If it is a person, it is not valid.  I hope this helps you.  I received a fax from them which is how I found this post. I can't stand scammers and wish they would be prosecuted.

Looks to be a scam company who will NOT remove your fax number,. Instead, it appears that they add your fax number to a listing that they sell to other companies in order to spam you.

Don't bother calling the 1-800-425-2052 number and entering the ad ID to remove a fax number from their list, they will only remove your fax number from ever receiving that EXACT ad again, not from their main data base. If you're looking to block this company from faxing you ANY ads in the future, you need to call the main provider, BroadFX, at 1-800-276-2339, ext. 4, and ask the operator to remove your fax number from ALL lists. You will speak to a real human being! This ensures that they won't fax you on behalf of ANY of their customers. Hope this helps!

Hey MH, thanks for the information ! Just wanted to correct the phone number to call for removing one's fax number. Calling 1-800-276-2339 will lead to a "sexy chat line"....calling 1-888-276-2339 extension #4 will get you to the right person to talk to :-).

So today is January 7, 2014 and it seems that our number is back on the faxing list as we've been getting several promotional faxes in the last week which are just wasting resources.... I called (again) to remove it from ALL their lists, across the board. Let's see how long this lasts ...

Spam faxers who have been reported - and fined - by the CRTC.

If you contact them, they will ask for a "reference number" BUT...that will only cancel one company. You will still; receive faxes from other useless faxes coming through. They use this tactic to say "well we cancelled the faxes for company "A" but they didn't say they didn't want faxes for companies "B", "C:, etc.

The CRTC says - WRONG and fined them appropriately.

We keep getting these darn annoying faxes that keeps wasting our paper!  I faxed one back to request removal from their database, but then I get another fax from I another one of their companies.  Should not sent it back!  Removal number does not work which led me to search for a working removal number and I found you.  Will try that 1-888 number.

Who are "they"? Have just received (yet again) another spam fax to our do-not-call-registered fax number (22 Feb, 2016), and this time the info at the bottom claims to be a numbered company 1054300 B.C. Ltd.
I know the CRTC lists cases and names of people prosecuted on their web site. Perhaps can find out who they are and name names, instead of letting them hide behind anonymous numbered companies? Or any of the various companies in this thread (Imperial Data, Broad FX, etc.).

These guys - Imperial Data Supply Cor from Maple Ridge BC are complete a$$hats.

They yell and scream at you if you call to remove your fax number.

Guess what [***]........formal CRTC complaint submitted.

Come on folks...follow my lead and lets get these guys fined.
