Happened to me too. My statement shows:

I live in Missouri and use UMB bank.  I called my bank and they said I needed to fill out a fraud affidavit at a branch.  I'm out of town until Monday so I told them to make a note of my call and I'll fill out their aff'd on Monday.  

There is probably some federal law that allows a full refund if you report the bad charge within a certain amount of time to the bank.

This happened to us today! The exact amount too! I was puzzled!  When I called the telephone number, it is no longer in service.  It happened on our debit card for our savings account.  Right away I knew it was fraud.  We have not used our debit card for this account in almost 6 months. I check our accounts more than once a day. I reported it as fraud and cancelled our debit cards.

Same thing happened to us.  Also had a VISA INTERNATIONAL SERVICE ASSESSMENT fee of $.28.  Not much but it was because of the ADIPOSE RX $34.84 fraudulent charge.  Bank has cancelled my card.  I've never heard of this company.  I haven't even ordered anything online in awhile.  Last time I used this card was paying a DISH TV bill.

adipose rx charged me 34.84 whitout my permission and my bank is infestigating the amaunt has to be returned

got a charge of $34.84 from my debit card, did not ordered anything, call my bank to dispute. dont know where they get my info or what.

I found that same charge and company on my account also.  Went to bank and they gave me the same ph #, which I called and it's now "out of service".  Called my bank again and they will issue me new card and if the pending action posts, then contact them again to file "fraud", but I will be able to get the whole amount refunded.  My bank said I'm not responsible for it.

I saw the following charge on my online credit card site-ADIPOSE RX - 8004301529 $34.84 still in the temporary mode. I called the credit card company and was told I was not alone. This is fraud. They cancelled my card. Call your bank immediately.

A charge of $35.19 showed up on my visa on 1/24/09, I called my bank and they recommend I try calling the number of the business.  So I called 1-800-430-1529 - no answer, just an answering machine saying to call back during business hours.  So I called Visa, I'll be filling out a form to contest the charge.  Has anyone been able to reach somebody at 1-800-430-1529?  I will be trying again Monday to see if I can get anyone on the phone.

I received a phone call from AdiposeRX on Thursday evening (1/29), but DID NOT answer because I could tell it was a telemarketer (on my caller ID). This was about 7 pm. Early the next morning, I saw the $34.84 charge on my account, called the bank and reported it. They tracked the call to a telemarketing company in UT and said they had manually entered my card number as if I had given it to them over the phone. The bank cancelled my card for me and is issuing a new one.

I just had the same thing happen to me.  The charge for $34.84 from ADIPOSE RX showed up on my VISA account as a pending charge on 1/29/09.  I called VISA and they are taking care of it.

This is a scam the same thing happen to me for the same amount. Beware!

I just found a similar charge for $35.89 from the same company. I have a new Bank card and have only made on transaction with it online at car-stuff.com. I have been to their site (www.adiposerx.com) and looked it up. It is registered through Godaddy as a private listing. I have contacted them so they could provide the info to the FBI's fraud department although I think they are probably based offshore beyond reach because of the obvious nature of this transaction. I too had no idea of this product, the site or anything else regarding this company. In my case they want a $5 replacement fee for the card so I guess I am lucky there. good Luck getting the oney back.

It just happened to me this morning, 1/31/09 at 10:56 a.m.  I had to put a block on my debit card.  It was a good thing I checked my account balance this morning.

this has been happening alot lately apparently there was a breach at some bill pay processing center

This is a fraud case and they are doing this all over the country. Cancel your card immediately.

The amount they usually charge on the card is $34.84 ....if you see that with the words  ADIPOSE RX 800-4301 KNKN--- CANCEL YOUR CARD IMMEDIATELY.
