- Jake replies to KennySCDid you get the actual money back, or did they just say they would refund the money? How could all of us misunderstand some online transaction we did. Something is still fishy here.

- Cats and Dogs replies to Don't Rip Me Off!| 1 replyDon't Rip Me Off,
I called the 800 number too and was told my account would be credited in 48 hours. The man I spoke with apologized for the error (said I must have hit a key accidently - DUH!!) We'll see if I receive the credit. Cancelled my debit card the same day anyway and went to my bank branch to fill out a "dispute." I also gave the bank two "Rip Off" complaints. They said they would investigate. I'm just curious if you did receive a credit. Also my bank did not charge me any fees. - lafeet_2000 replies to connieAdipose RX:
ADIPOSE RX 8004301529 KN $35.19 also charged a purchase
without authorization on my cabelas visa on 2/4/09.
I won't be talking to the company. Security on cabelas visa
will be taking care of the transaction and issuing me a new card. - Helen| 3 repliesI did not get a call, but had two charges posted on my debit account on 30 Jan. I have never called this number nor did I order anything from them. I have been unable to talk to anyone at my CU because I just found out yesterday, and they do not have an after-hours contact.

Stan - Roger replies to Stan| 1 replyI also was charged an international sevice fee for .28 cents. I haven't used the credit card the amount was charged to in 5 years since I left the military. Mine wasn't charged to a debit card, it was a Visa associated with an old checking and savings account.
- hannahI just got my visa bill - I, too, was billed for the same amount. Has anyone contacted their Attorney General, Congressperson or the Media? They won't stop if they only get a few disgruntled people calling them. They're pocketing all the $$ from those folks who don't check their statements. But, what I want to know is HOW DID THEY GET MY CREDIT CARD NUMBER?! When I asked, they were very vague = They wouldn't tell me!
- Brian and MeodyWe just had a charge show up on our bank account online. We immediately called the bank and they were very familiar with this scam. You would think they could stop it, but they don't know what purchases are good or bad. They gave us a number to call for fraudulant charges. We live in Indiana. They cancelled our debit card immediately and are sending us a new one out.
Just another note of interest... it was charged on the last business day of the month our card was to expire. we had not yet activated our new ones yet. Maybe they do it and "slip it in" before the stuff expires. - Bill replies to RogerI got hit for the $34.84 on a card I haven't had in more than 3 years. However, since the card was issued by Bank of America, those clever customer service people simply put the charge on my current Bank of America card! They're my next complaint, right after I file against these adipose crooks.
- How Annoying replies to Cats and DogsThe same thing happened to us. We called but didn't get through to anyone. I reported this to our Attorney General and the bank. The bank reversed the charge and we received a new card. *Today in the mail we received the weight lose product we never ordered! We did not open the package and will be sending this back to the sender.
- SusanDid not receive any call but did have a $34.84 charge on Visa and received diet pills in the mail. This phone number was listed on my credit card statement next to company name Adipose Rx. I called a different phone number listed on pill bottle, was told I would receive a credit. I was also told me that sometimes when someone steals a credit card number, they will put a small charge through to make sure it is a working card. I received a cancellation email from Adiposerx.com, even though I did not give them any email information. This email account is one my husband rarely uses, but did use recently to sign up for Identity Guard, a credit monitoring service, which he cancelled after the trial period. He also has a Paypal account with this email. Our credit card company is on alert to watch transactions on our card.
- Susan replies to DawnI just posted my story, but in reading yours, I realized Sheraton also has my credit card number and the email address which received the cancellation email from Adiposerx.com. It is a rarely used email account, and not connected often with this credit card.
- madWe also got charged. This MC was on my PayPal account, but with an expired date. I have not used this card in months so I noticed right away that a new charge was posted. I changed my paypal password, but how can I stop this from happening again?

- MuddledinMA| 3 repliesAlso got the AdiposeRX charge on my credit card on February 5. I'm in Massachusetts. Just discovered the charge today and called to report fraud and have my card deactivated/changed.
Warn your friends!!!! - madI just sent the details of this scam to my Attorney General in Idaho.
- Homer replies to ronEveryone needs to report this as a FRAUDULENT transaction to the bank and demand a chargeback. This way, the scammers will lose their merchant account. It won;t stop them but it will at least slow them down.
