- samDO NOT ACCEPT THESE OFFERS!!!!! I work for COX myself and had a cust call me and say this happened to her. We would NEVER ask anybody to prepay for their services in advance for a whole year! The only thing we would EVER ask to pay in adv would be a deposit or install fee or perhaps a month in adv charge if you're reconnecting the srv. I called these people myself and they have a fake cox automated system that routes you to people in india or phillipines...and they swore at me left right and center.. no cox agent would EVER be this rude and beligerant to a customer. THIS IS DEFINITELY A SCAM PEOPLE!!! We searched the number and it is NOT affiliated with cox in any way! According to my cust she stated they told her to get a prepaid card and to not use her debit/credit card. In reality most prepaid cards do not even work for pymts with cox. These people want your money but they dont want you to use your actual debit or credit card so they cannot be traced back to any of them. You will not see a change after a year.. instead you will only pay them your money and NEVER see it again.. They do not have access to any database with cox so they cannot make a change to your monthly rate or bundle pricing. We already sent out a report on these people as of today and sent out a site wide email to all cox associates. DO NOT fall for these guys they are very sneaky!!!! Never ever do we ask you to pre pay or pay for srvs not through your financial institutions. THIS IS 100% A SCAM DONT ACCEPT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
