- AdministrativeCall made to my company's administrative line at 11:45pm. Picked up by voicemail as it was after hours.
The voicemail was as follows:
"Snooooki. Snooki....(4second pause)....Snooki!....(4 second pause)....SNOOKI?"
It's very possible that we currently have reservations pending with AA, but we don't know a Snooki.- Caller: Unknown.
- AndrewAmerican Airlines letting me know of a flight delay for an actual flight my wife is on. It was an automated message, not a live person.
- Caller: American Airlines
- Call type: Event reminder
- recepReceived an automated call stating " this is AA calling confirm your upcoming flight info." nothing else was said or any other info given. I *69 the phone line in order to get the number that just called. To my surprise when I google the number it came up as AA and I came across this site to post my comment. This call was received at a business and none of the partners had any trips planned. I say this is definitely some type of scam and that AA should be notified.
- Caller: American Airlines
- LeonelThese people keep calling and telling me to pick up someone at Ohare airport! WTF!? Stop calling me!
- ACreceived 10 calls on 12/26/11 from this number. I am assuming it's something from AA as reported by several others. I am 12 and do not have a flight w/AA. They didn't leave a vm.
I'd like something done about this. - JohnDallasIt is an American Airlines flight status call I received after asking to be notified. To those who are getting these calls for no apparent reason, it may be because someone indicated a wrong phone number, maybe?
- Caller: American Airlines

- eliReceived 6 calls from as saying that my flight was going to arrive ar7pm and they called a day later, it was a bad automated system left inmy voicemail because I never answer 800 # I dunk its definitely a scam I will defiantly block this number so they don't call me back again at 4am

- seaslewHow can some of these be legit and others seem like a scam??? I'm at the airport waiting to board in one hour for an American flight so it could certainly be legit -- yet so many others here talk about theses calls being a bit weird.... Anyway, no message left yet, and I didn't answer.
- seaslewOK, following up -- there was no message left at all but then 20 min. later the airline announced that there was indeed a flight delay. You'd think they'd have left a message as long as they bothered calling me!
- ToddReceived a voicemail from American Airlines Reservations on a flight I had on HOLD to let me know of a flight change. I'm glad they called because I was going to book it tonight but the new flight they put me on will not work for me as it gets me back home too late (10:00pm vs. the 4:30pm I reserved).

- Ian| 3 repliesI also got an email confirming a preferred seat booking for some one I don't know & on a credit card that I don't recognise (had to check them all). I think this is to get me to follow the link - or phone back & query then give out my personal details.

- Gonzo411 replies to Ian| 2 repliesI got the same email, but my spam filter rejected it. I inspected it anyway because it was different.
The only thing different between mine and yours is the credit card number shown (the last four digits anyway), and in my case, the number was correct. I rushed onto my credit union website and checked and there was no such transaction thankfully.
I agree, I think it's a tease to try to get you to call in and give up some personal information. - Portland2005 replies to Gonzo411| 1 replyThis message regarding a message from "CHADBOURN HAWLEY" is most likely a phishing attempt to get personal information. Delete it. I also received the identical message with different four VISA digits. From the message properties, the return path is notify-at-aa-dot-globalnotifications-dot-com, but message properties state that it's really routed from a Brazil address. They really want you to click the "www-dot-aa-dot-com" link which is routed to whatever phishing site the sender is using at the time. The message sent to me routes to a site in Hong Kong.
- stevenVery Strange...Got a message saying they were AA and my flight from San Fran to Chicago for the following day (26+ hours later) was delayed 1 hour. The flight wasn't even started yet, how would they know it was late 1 hour?
Thing is, that flight is with United, NOT AA. Someone knows I have a flight booked, but apparently doesn't know which airline it is with.
Also, somehow they got my unlisted, unpublished home phone number, which I have never given to either AA or United.- Call type: Event reminder
- MikeAmerican airlines called my home at 6:30 am on a Saturday morning to tell me of a departure time change for a flight I'm not on, nor did I sign up for notifications. Needless to say I'm quite annoyed. As far as I can tell there's no way to stop AA from calling as there's no way to cancel notifications that someone else set up.
Apparenlty AA doesn't verify phone numbers so someone can enter anyone's phone number in for notification.- Caller: American Airlines

- bossso biggers stupit , no 1 answer , no recib any help.90 min on the phone , just wadted mi time.
- MSWCalled my phone about three times now, just ignored the call. Landed here on this website because I Google the number.
- rswoodHave received two calls from this number in the past few days. No message, no response. I answered and let it run and it was just silent. Weird. My guess is someone is masking their caller id using this number (normally an AA #) for some other purpose. Next time I'll let it go to voicemail and see what it says.
