It's from the Weider History Group calling about a magazine subscription. I had a subscription to American History magazine which I let lapse. I presume they're trying to get me to re-up.

This caller will not let up even when we have asked not to be bothered. They are vermins.

calls several times a day and evening doesnot leave message

I don't answer any calls that only contain a number.

Three calls in a week, and left no msg.  800notes suggested WWII Magazine, so  I called them to say my dad is deceased, so he won't be renewing.   The rep denied that they make 'outgoing calls' and suggested someone else is 'spoofing' their number.  He did make a note on their records to not MAIL any offers, either.   I don't have caller ID, and my antique answering machine asks caller to leave a message.

Not exactly a scam.  Just a magazine with a very aggressive sales program.  They can't take "NO" for an answer.  For that reason alone I would never subscribe to any of their mags again.

This number is associated with a magazine that I used to subscribe to.  I guess they want me back.  They call several times a week, also send me junk mail at least twice a month.  The mag was OK but I just didn't have time for it.  Right now even if I did want to subscribe again I wouldn't, due to all the harassment I'm getting from them.  Some people just can't give up I guess.

I did not buy anything from this number and they charged my account for $70.
