Capital One explain the alleged loan agreement, do I allow C1 to accept a bank asset from me like money and C1 gets it for free like money and then C1 returns it to me as a loan. are the bookkeeping entries have the economics of like stealing from me and returning the stolen money to me like a loan and it is like counterfeiting money? The answer is yes and it violates Generally Accepted Accounting Principles GAAP thus violating the CPA audit report making it a fraud and if the bank cannot explain the loan agreement they wrote, it is fraud in the factum making it illegal and you owe them nothing. I told the bank this and they stopped all collecting.

The chances that you are a CPA are slightly below the chances that I am Santa Claus.  But hey, nice try at sounding intelligent.  Your word salad makes no sense at all.

    BANK CPA replies to BigA
IN SIMPLE WORDS. THE FEDERAL RESERVER BANK IS NOT GOVERNMENT IT IS A PRIVATE BANKI THAT PRINTS UP NEW MONEY. We do not use gold or silver which cannot be counterfeited. So the banks and you can start any money system like TOKEN money to barter. The loan agreement can be sold it has value so it is used like money. The bank exchanges it for something of equal value called checking account money which you can write a check. This creates new money like counterfeiting money and stealing at the same time. All the CPA's and bankers agree BUT they add no one can explain it in court so they get away with it. If one counterfeits you end up owning nearly everything and enslave a nation. The news cannot talk, they need the bank, politicians cannot talk they need the bankers money to get elected. Judges fear the banks, they need a bank also. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles - the matching principle does not allow the bank to do this. If they do not follow GAAP, the stock exchange has to delist the bank and cannot trade their  stock. You do the paperwork to the bank attorney and tell the attorney you are "aiding and abetting" a crime, he can lose his BAR- he does not want you to sue him if he lies in a deposition he is in trouble and loses his BAR. If he cannot explain the agreement and bookkeeping entries, it is FRAUD IN THE FACTUM. Sue the attorney and his professional insurance will give you $30,000 immediately to stop the lawsuit. FUN   CPA's and attorneys FEAR this.

The caller (who had a female voice) hesitated to say anything when I first answered, then she said she was Rebecca but didn't say which company she was representing.  I responded "this is clearly a scam call and I am hanging up"  The female voice didn't say anything, so I hung up and blocked the number.

A legitimate caller would have said "hi, my name is Rebecca and I'm calling from XYZ Company, maybe I please speak to..." so based on what I'm reading here, I made the correct decision.

After reading how people dismissed this call or apparently never had a capital one card, I thought I would include that I was called by this number (1-800-435-1415) and it was a robotic “female” like the previous poster who said she was calling from CapitalOne regarding a late payment, and I actually DID have a late card payment to make.

I think it’s a bad idea to give a robot voice a name because I think it makes people more skeptical that it’s a legitimate call, but in my case it was. If you are a CapitalOne customer and get a call from this number, I would assume it is legitimate and return the call or make your payment.

Received a call from this number with no voicemail message. Then received a second call 5 days later. I had already looked the number up online and read the first few scam alert posts so did not answer and they did not leave a voicemail message. Another 5 days later I received a third call from this number but this time there was a voicemail message that said “return this call at #different 800 number# to discuss further”. That was the entirety of the message - no reference to a business name, a person’s name, the subject they wanted to discuss further, or anything else….

Voice mail is a robo message telling me to call a different # than what they called me from.  I called original # from a different phone and it is "Capital One" telling me to enter either my account # or SSN. Nice try!
