Just received a call from this number a minute ago.  It was a recording which began "This is an emergency notice from Microsoft.  Your windows license......" at which point, I hung up.  Blocked.

Got the same message 5-18-17 around 10 am.

I don't use Microsoft products, so I couldn't care less about the scam.

Same here - let it go to voice mail and they told me my Microsoft License has been suspended.  Lowlifes.

got voicemail with  "All services on your Microsoft windows will be stopped to reinstall  call our toll free number 800-435-3736" at 5:05pm on 5-18-17. Tempted to call the # to hear their scam.

Same message, recorded call.  Same call back number: 800-435-3736.  Want to bet it forwards to an overseas (probably Indian or Pakistan) boiler room?  I'm too chicken to try.

All of my land line calls are transferred to my cell phone.  No ID, unknown number, and I simply do not answer.  Voice mail is translated to text, but in this case I got the message that the message could not be converted to text.  Probably foreign with accent.  Aw shucks.  I would have been happy to play with them until they got mad and hung up - 50 years of computer experience gives me an edge, I do believe.  But since I never answer on numbers I don't know, well, anyway.  Thanks to all who comment here.  No doubt a SCAMMER.

Just got same call minutes ago. Call went to voice mail.  Why are we subject to such calls? You would think the various phone companies or Congress would do something since these types of calls are well documented by people spending their time to be of service to the community. Bless them all.

got the same call stating it was from Microsoft-----guy had  a strong Indian accent---hung up---SCAM.

Left a voicemail on landline May 20 at 10:00 a.m. saying all services on Windows would be suspended. Call their number to reinstall or something, which of course I would never do.  Does no good to block, because they just use another number

Just got the message today that all services on my MS Windows would be stopped and then the number to call to have it reinstalled.  I'll be sure to call that number.  LOL  I hope people don't fall for this stuff.

call from this "800" number. did not answer. random voice mail message.  BOGUS

Same message as the others got. I agree that it does no good to block the number.

Same message-  Windows will be shut down blah blah.  Will put this next to the call from the "IRS" that I will be arrested by a local officer
