This is HSN Verification Department. If you order something from HSN.com for the first time and fail their verification, they will cancel your order and give you the hardest time. They won't tell you what information they have wrong. Your order will be canceled and you have to wait 2 weeks, which by then the special will have gone. You cannot fax or supply with information proving that you are who you say are. Shop QVC instead!

Same as the above, they were verifying the ship to location since it's not the same as my billing address...

The woman was nice and lead me through a few questions to verify it was me and then released the order.

I work for hsn and i got this issue too...which is odd seeing as howe they send my paycheck to my address but somehow they don't all talk to each other in the main office. Either way, easy fix.  update your info and you are good to go.

We got a call from this number verifying a fraudulant order.  Very odd phone conversation.  Asked for my address and phone number and said they canceled the order which truly was fraudulant. would not give me any details......made me a little leary as to whether he was legit.

I missed out on a great deal, for a laptop bundle, because HSN verification department canceled the order. They claim their "Verification System" could not verify the address, where I am currently residing. I've updated my address with Commenity Bank ,HSN Customer Service and HSN Verification Services and they still say, my card has a block due to their automated "SYSTEM" not being able to verify that I live where I live. WTF! I asked what's the next step and they said, there's nothing else we can do. I then stated, "So my card is useless......they said, No I won't say it's useless." Well, WTF is it called then if I can't use it, because it's blocked? USELESS, just f****ing USELESS!

Received an email with this number. Was suspicious so Googled and found these posting. Called the number from my work phone and spoke with a very nice person within 1 minute. Turns out my new HSN account and phone number could not be verified for this high end 1K purchase. Asked me 4 personal questions that only I would know. Updated my account and released my purchase. Thumbs up HSN.

I have had a similar situation.They are saying someone has used my address and phone number to order somethings and didn't pay for them.Well i went through the verification today and my account is still blocked.any help at all is appreciated

Horrible customer service they can't take messages and they don't call back

On July1 the system blocked thousands of accounts. The verification dept doesn't answer and doesn't help useless USE QVC the better brands will learn and move

This is the HSN verification dept. I too was declined due to the same vague reason that they were unable to verify my information through their "SYSTEM".The mere fact that they wont let you supply any proof or wont give you any additional unformation strongly reeks of
discrimination. Have any of you purued this fuŕher????

My order was canceled due to the verification process as well.
I have contacted help center and they were not helpful at all. Terrible expirience.
I miss my deal.
I suppose that their verification system does not exist. If their profit too low, they cancel orders and that is all.

This is the 2nd time I have been through this with HSN. Their regular customer service treats ou like a criminal. I think it is racist and based on zip codes. I intend to get more information from the verification department. I will file a BBB complaint.

Yeah, I bet that nasty letter they get from the BBB will scare the bejesus out of them.  If you feel that way then why don't you write a letter to their CEO?  Or simply stop ordering from them and let them know why.  Whining and complaining like a two-year-old will get you nowhere.
